eMACROS Pro3 2.4G Wi-Fi Solar Driveway Alarm,1 Receiver+1 Sensor

This is a great device and application. Works well for the long distance to my property's main gate. Very good range. Value is excellent for the purchase price. Set up was very straightforward. Battery life is excellent especially with the solar back up. sound options are very pleasant. I found this product to be excellent. I had an old base unit and the technical support was great in helping me connect.

This driveway alarm system works surprisingly well and gives great peace of mind. The motion detection is accurate, the solar charging works efficiently, and the app notifications are fast and reliable. Setup was straightforward, and connecting it to Wi-Fi was easier than expected. I use it for monitoring vehicles and visitors entering the driveway, and the range has been excellent so far. The sensors handle outdoor weather conditions well, and I appreciate not having to constantly replace batteries because of the solar feature. If you want a dependable smart driveway alarm for home, rental property, or business use, this is definitely worth buying. Highly recommended!

It works on my very long driveway to alert me when someone is arriving, however, it requires more sunlight and I’ve had to move it a couple times as trees fill out with leaves. The distance from wi-fi is not what is advertised for me, but it still works, just not as far away as I had initially hoped.

For the last three years I've had two of these at various points along my long, gravel driveway. Recently one of them started acting up, and I had to replace it. That's an excellent service life for a reasonably-priced, plastic product that spends its life in the hot desert sun most of the year, and in snow in the winter. The solar recharging has worked perfectly, in that I've never had to recharge or change the batteries, and they've never been dead. As PIR (passive infrared) sensors, they are not infallible — for example electric vehicles don't emit enough heat to be detected — but they are reliable enough for our needs.

In 2021, I purchased an earlier version of this driveway alarm system. It worked great for 5 years. The farthest sensor was 0.25 miles from my house (the receiver), through quite a few juniper trees. The closer sensor was about half that distance, also through trees. Both sensors worked flawlessly for the whole five years. Recently, the solar panel/battery system in both sensors started to fail, so I bought the current version of the alarm system as a replacement. The new system doesn't work. The new receiver doesn't get a signal from the new sensors even at a distance of 100 yards, with direct line-of-sight and no trees. Everything works fine when the sensors and receiver are in the same room, but once the sensors are placed where they need to be, there's no connection. Useless. I'm going to try to repair the old alarm set from 2021.

I bought this alarm for my parents' house in Cuba for the solar panels, I think it is the most complete I have seen and so far it has been an excellent option, the torrents are on top of the plate and the base that warns that there is movement is next to its bed sounds and the thieves do not know, without a doubt I would buy it again

The app is a major upgrade for eMacros. It actually works. I owned a previous model, and the app was never updated and became non-functioning quickly. This one works for the options it presents. Where this fails is what happens when it turns itself on or off (note - same effect if using an Alexa-controlled power outlet for the base unit/receiver). On & off programming is very critical for me, since the animals around our rural location will trigger an alarm in the dead of night. I've programmed the device via the app to turn off in the evening, and on in the morning. Here's the problem: When the receiver/base unit turns on, a very loud voice recites that it is acquiring a signal, then it "welcomes" you with a commercial message about your wonderful eMacros device in the same loud voice. If you have a sleeping child, you're on a phone call nearby, or are simply unprepared for someone to suddenly yell at you, it's a real problem. Likewise, when it turns off in the evening, it emits a very LOUD "chirp" sound. Unprepared for a loud, alarm-like chirp? Have a sleeping cat in your lap? Is your protective dog napping nearby? Expect the unexpected. I was hoping that there is a way to silence the startup voice and the sign-off "chirp" of doom with the app. Not that I can find, and I looked long and hard. The previous iteration of this device could be programmed off and on using a simple 3rd-party Alexa-enabled power outlet, and it was silent. No such luck with this device. An app update is in order that would mute the power-on voice message and the power-off chirp. Please. Also - about an hour and a half after the unit turns on in the morning, it sends a false alarm. We can check immediately, and there is nothing there, not a squirrel, not a mouse. I thought maybe it was sunshine hitting it just right, or maybe wind on a bush or falling leaves, but it is in a protected area so wind doesn't affect the surrounding area, and it does it in rain, or fog, or sunshine. Every day. Operationally, it does what it claims, but it never claims to be able to mute those audio on/off alerts. Too bad.

These Driveway Monitors work fine! I have four of them around my house to detect movement and three base units at different locations around my home. They will detect the deer, people and vehicles, and sometimes other creatures.

I have purchased two sets of these unit units, the round 2024 version and the rectangular 2025 version. I’m able to pair both motion sensors to both base stations. It has great range even indoors and their customer support is surprisingly good. I had an issue with a base station continually re-pairing with my phone multiple times a day. They sent me a replacement unit. Multiple ringtones, including voice with options like garage, driveway, back yard, front and fun ones like bird song, dog barks and gunshots.

Was easy to set up and paired immediately to my phone. I have it set up about 80 yards down our driveway and it works perfectly. It even worked at -20c. I am satisfied with my purchase.

This was a great purchase since I live deep in the woods and this product let's me know ahead of time when someone is arriving. I also recommend it since the app on my iPhone also informs you so you are aware when you're outside or away from home. The solar panel on the unit keeps it on continuously.
