So simple and effective!
I was scepticle of this BUT don’t be. I love it. I’ve used it to empty the paddling pool several times into my water butts to later feed the garden. Reason I do this is so I can condition the water with tomorite so any yuckies of sun cream etc are diluted. I recommend using a plug in drill, not battery depending on how much you have to pump out, they’ll just die quickly. I copied the setups you can see in the other reviews. There’s an additional pipe and strainer you can buy which is very useful. Should come up in “customers also bought” bit.

ESENO Extra Heavy Duty Water Pump for Drill couls be better instructions
ESENO Extra Heavy Duty Water Pump for Drill Review Brand: ESENO Product: Extra Heavy Duty Water Pump for Drill Overview The ESENO Extra Heavy Duty Water Pump for Drill is designed to convert your standard electric drill into a powerful water pump. This makes it a convenient tool for various applications, such as draining water from pools, aquariums, ponds, and other water transfer tasks. Features Compatibility: Works with most electric drills. Heavy Duty: Constructed to handle tough tasks and continuous use. Flow Rate: High water transfer rate, suitable for a range of applications. Portability: Lightweight and easy to transport. Durability: Made with robust materials to withstand rigorous use. Performance Priming Issues One of the primary concerns users face with the ESENO Water Pump is related to priming. Proper priming is crucial for the pump to start moving water efficiently. Here are some common issues and tips to address them: Airlocks: Air trapped in the pump or hoses can prevent proper priming. Ensure all connections are airtight and the pump is filled with water before starting. Initial Fill: Users may need to fill the pump chamber with water manually to aid in priming. Without this initial fill, the pump may struggle to start. Pump Positioning: Positioning the pump below the water source can help with priming as gravity assists in filling the pump chamber. Flow Direction Issues Incorrect flow direction is another challenge that users report. The ESENO Water Pump needs to be connected correctly to ensure the water flows as intended. Misconnecting the input and output hoses can result in water not being pumped or flowing in the wrong direction. Here are tips to avoid this issue: Clear Labeling: Ensure that the input and output ports are clearly labeled. If the labels are not clear or missing, refer to the user manual for guidance. Check Connections: Double-check hose connections before starting the drill. The input hose should be connected to the water source, and the output hose should lead to the discharge point. Flow Direction Arrows: Look for arrows or markings on the pump body indicating the correct flow direction. These markings can guide proper hose connection. User Experience Ease of Use While the ESENO Water Pump offers high performance, users report that the initial setup can be tricky, especially for those unfamiliar with pump operations. Following the instructions carefully and addressing priming and flow direction issues can mitigate most problems. Durability Users appreciate the pump's robust construction and ability to handle heavy-duty tasks. It performs well under continuous use, and its materials resist wear and tear effectively. Efficiency Once properly set up, the ESENO Water Pump delivers a strong and consistent flow rate. It is effective in various water transfer applications, making it a versatile tool. Pros and Cons Pros: High Performance: Strong water transfer rate suitable for various tasks. Durable Construction: Built to last with heavy-duty materials. Portable: Lightweight and easy to carry around. Versatile: Compatible with most electric drills and useful for many applications. Cons: Priming Issues: Can be challenging to prime, requiring careful setup. Flow Direction: Incorrect hose connections can lead to operational issues. Setup Complexity: May be difficult for beginners to set up correctly. Conclusion The ESENO Extra Heavy Duty Water Pump for Drill is a powerful and versatile tool for water transfer tasks. While it offers high performance and durability, users may encounter challenges with priming and ensuring the correct flow direction. These issues can be mitigated with careful setup and by following the provided instructions. Despite these initial hurdles, once properly set up, the pump delivers efficient and reliable performance, making it a valuable addition to any toolkit.

Perfect for ballasting tractor tyres — Simple and effective
I bought this drill-attached water pump specifically for ballasting my tractor tyres, and it did exactly what it said on the tin. I needed to pump about 40 litres of coolant into the tyres to add some weight, and this little tool handled it with no bother at all. Performance & Setup: Drill Powered: I hooked it up to my standard cordless battery drill, and it primed and started pumping almost instantly. It’s a very clever way to use the tools you already have in the workshop to do a specialist job. Handled the Volume: Pumping 40 litres is a fair bit of work for a small attachment, but it didn't overheat or struggle. The flow rate was consistent, and it got the job done much faster than trying to gravity-feed the coolant. Simple Connections: The hose attachments are straightforward. It created a good seal with no leaks, which is important when you're working with coolant around your wheel rims and garage floor. The Value: For the price, you really can’t argue. It’s a fraction of the cost of a dedicated electric pump, and for occasional maintenance like ballasting or emptying a water tank, it’s all you really need. It’s small enough to chuck in the toolbox when you're finished. Verdict: If you need to move liquid and have a battery drill to hand, this is a no-brainer. It worked perfectly for my tractor tyres and saved me a lot of time and hassle. A very impressive bit of kit for the money.

Brilliant product.
Used this pump to empty a water bed- absolutely smashed the task no problem, just stopped the pump occasionally to cool down then back to the task. Would I recommend this pump 100% I would.

Okay, but….
Works ok on the flat. Probably great for emptying paddling pools. Did not work for my specific purpose which was sucking water 2m vertically from a well. Suspect that it can only “self prime” on the flat.

Simple to use and very powerful.
Excellent purchase, very effective. Rather than wasting the water from the children's paddling pool, I was able to pump it out using this attached to my electric drill. It emptied the pool in 20 minutes and has a really powerful flow.

Compact Pump with Good Flow Rate
Great compact pump, that enabled me to transfer 50 gallons of water from an overflow water butt to the main water butt, as it was now empty. By attaching the pump to a small plank of wood gives a platform for the drill to work against. Do remeber to carefully read the manufaturers instructions, the do advise the pump is primed before use and properly drained after use. I oiled mine with vegetable cooking oil to help repell the residual water, before storing. The pump comes with HoseLock style connectors and pipe attachments, so it is pretty much "plug and play". I am pleased I made the purchase.

Garbage - Do not buy
You prime it by submerging it in water, by the time you lift it to attach to hoses the water drains out and it doesn't pump at all. Useless cheap garbage.
