Not worth the trouble of having to soak it before use. Have had other collars that were much more effective.

Arrived in a timely manner
Product arrived in a timely manner - in time for hot humid weekend horsemanship clinic I was attending. It didn't work as well as I hoped. I did soak it for 3 to 5 minutes in water from the ice in the cooler. and another couple of times I put it under running cold water in a sink for minimum of 3 minutes. I didn't hold the cold or the wet as long as I needed. Maybe in conditions not as extreme it would work for someone.

Better than anything else I have tried. It really works to keep me cool for most of the day. Only drawback - I can't figure out how to keep the velcro from rubbing where it hooks
