Medical Alert Dog Tag 30" Chain Free Personalized

When I ordered these, they were shipped the next day. Excellent service!The product itself is functional, which is about all you need for this type of product. ;) I ordered the red, and it is a bright red with the Medic Alert symbol showing clearly. The information I had added on the back was exactly correct, and stands out and is clearly readable. The only downside was the attachment ring that came on it. I wanted to wear this with another set of dogtags, and wanted to add a silencer. The attachment ring (to loop the chain through) had to be removed by pliers. Some reviewers said that it easily came loose, but unless it was not crimped closed, I do not see how. It took me pliers to get it loose! I added the silencer and used the existing loop chain on my other dogtags to add this. The chain that comes with this is a nicer looking chain than I expected, and I actually used it instead of the 'plain' one. I ordered an extra chain due to some reviews here, but found the chain to be functional and decent looking, and did not need the extra chain.Best Regards,

I ordered this product in red on August 1st, and did not get it until August 9th, which to me was slow, considering I had paid for expedited shipping, but they did put down that it would arrive between the 4th and the 11th. All of the text I had wanted on it was done correctly, got compliments on it from my son's teacher. Only downside was only one hour after wearing it, the clip on the dog tag came off, but we ended up just removing the clip and threading the chain straight through the clip hole on the dog tag.

Choose this tag because it was bright colored and I put it on my key chain.. I was not happy with the "sending process". As I don't remember seeing anything re: engraving" when I ordered it, I was upset when I got an e-mail, asking for engraving info. In my opinion, it was taking longer to get here as it was, the engraving made it take even longer. Maybe the engraving request was there but I did not see it. But I am happy with the tag

We picked the black color and specified the text by sending the seller a message via the Amazon "Your Orders" page and selecting the contact seller option.The engraving is good looking and easy to read, providing me with piece of mind that medical personnel will have the details on my conditions if I am unable to speak for myself. The include chain is plenty long enough to let the tag hang well below the level of a V-neck shirt, making it unobtrusive when worn.Overall, I am very pleased with quality and delivery speed of this important and possibly life saving product!Highly Recommended!CFH

I got this when my daughter was diagnosed with celiac and we went to international travel.I had some problems communicating with the seller about what should be engraved on the tag. He ended up sending me the tag BEFORE we came to an agreement.The tag itself is ok.I like that the chain can be shortened. I did have to fix the connector, but that was no biggie.it serves its purpose. She only wears it when she is on a field trip or when we are travelling.

Purchased this for my adult son who has MS in case he fall unconcious somewhere. It works for what we needed and is definitely the way to go if you don't want to pay the high membership fee to the "original" alert company. Engraving is very clear and easy to read. Tag is lightweight.

The tag is great, the engraving looks very professional. It was done and arrived quickly. The chain was not comfortable, it is very irregular and bumpy, so we had to replace it. All in all, I am happy with the tag.

This is a great product and priced reasonably. My engraving instructions were a little unusual, but via email, the company was very cooperative and patient as we went back and forth with instructions. The chain is nice, looks better than the typical ball type chain that I was expecting. I would recommend the product and the customer service. P.S. I ordered the black "silencers" separately since I had two tags. Those prevent the tags from clicking on each other.
