I use this product all the time and I love it because it works great. It has a nice light lemon vanilla set that doesn’t bother you or your skin or eyes and it really works. This will be my second time buying this item and would recommend this to anyone who loves the outdoors but hates mosquitoes or even nats.

This works surprisingly well. For a few weeks in spring/early summer I have a gnat problem on the deck. This keeps them completely away from my body. The smell is not as unpleasant as other repellents.

I work outdoors daily, fence construction. I need a long-lasting repellant that can't withstand our Texas mosquitos, and the sweat from our humidity. With all the recent rains we've have been hit with new batches of mosquitos every few days. This repellant smelled great, wasn't greasy, but it couldn't withstand our Texas mosquito infestation. I would suggest using this if you don't have to be outdoors for extra-long periods of time or sweat a lot. I give it 4 stars.

This works really well! I love that's it's safe and stops biting bugs. I'd say realistically you get an hour plus bug free, so keep it handy. This isn't deet all day protection but also it won't kill you! I buy the large refill and use that to fill a travel size and a car size bottle. It really works!

This is a mixed review. Yes it does work very well, is not greasy and smells pretty good. I use it on myself and an outside cat that is a magnet for gnats and mosquitos. For that I give it 3 stars. Please be forewarned to not get this spray anywhere near your eyes! I sprayed myself in all the normal places (arms, neck, chest area etc.) and it eventually made it to my eyes either by towel or hands. I made an effort to flush my eyes and used artificial tears For the next few hours. Next day and I can tell there is a bit of scarring that hopefully will go away with time and lubricant drops.

Although this spray is designed to be used as a bug spray, I've also found it effective for spraying around windows to deter pests. I had a really bad gnat problem in my apartment. The gnats were small enough to pass through our window screens, and although we would kill them with traps, more and more gnats would replace the ones killed. I looked at getting an outdoor perimeter bug spray, but all of them had toxic chemicals and were unsafe for pets. Since I have pets and would primarily be spraying this around windows, I wanted to make sure it wasn't toxic. I found this spray only used natural chemicals, and although it isn't designed to be used as a home perimeter spray I took the chance and purchased it. Glad that I did! It has worked really well for keeping our gnats. Just after 1 day I noticed all the gnats were gone in our place, and after 2 weeks the spray is still effective. Do keep in mind, the spray leaves an oily residue on surfaces. Made one of my windows foggy/messy, but it wasn't too big of an issue for me. Additionally, the spray does have a smell to it. It's not a terribly strong or bad smell, but it does have a smell. The smell lasted for about 3 days before fading. Hope this review helps for anyone looking to get a safe natural spray for keeping out house flies.

Used for a family 3 week trip to Puerto Rico. Wanted to try something more "natural" - Deet has its place - wanted to try an alternative. It works - PR, especially in the beach areas, has its share of mosquitos and no-see-ums. When applied in the morning - the ankles and calves which are normally chewed - no bites. The bugs are there, just didn't attack us and leave us miserable. After playing at the beach/water - best to re-apply. Its not water-proof. Sand fleas - those pesky early morning and late evening bugs - this product was only moderately effective - but was slightly better than Cutter's (50% Deet) - put the natural stuff of my wife & son & the other on me as a test - I was bit more than them - we all were bit less than if we had had nothing applied. This product has a pleasant smell. A nice feel to it once you rub it to ensure coverage - I didn't feel "coated" in chemical. Easy to apply - my son didn't fight getting sprayed with this as compared to the protests from the Deet product. Will buy again - was nice have a range of sizes - the smaller size to drop in the back pack to re-apply to feet & ankles.

I have been using commercial and chemical-grade bug repellents this season and previously. This season, I could no longer stand the idea of spraying myself down with a chemical. What I have been using was in an aerosol can that smelled terrible, was not environmentally friendly, and was oily. Hence I had to look for a better solution, so I found BugSoother and was hopeful this approach would be better for me and the environment. Sadly, it just does not work for me. The reviews are accurate, it smells nice, and I like the idea of the handy spray bottles, which are better than a bulky can. Some user reviews here claim that no oily residue is left on your skin; I did not experience that. The site also claims no oily residue left behind; again not my experience. Even now, as I type this review, there is a sticky, weird feeling residue on my arms and legs. Also, the product site claims that the frequency of reapplication is typically 1 hour and can repel up to 10 hours. That's not the case here. I walk my dog, and when one bug or gnat appears, I spray all over, then less than 3 minutes later, they are back again, and this horrible attack continues until Sophie and I get back indoors. This product did not work for me; I am still being served up as an offering as a tribute to the bugs and gnats every time I walk out with or without this product.
