Kept my food cold from morning until afternoon.You do have to keep in mind that the temperature retention will also depend on the cooler that the ice pack will go to and the environment the bag is subject to.So this review is only with the usage of the following lunch bag/cooler.https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0752B5MP7/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1Amazon ASN: B0752B5MP7I did put the ice packs on the freezer for more than 24 hours since I don't have any food to take to lunch during those days.Ice pack, I only did use only 1 pack, was already in the bag with the food from the fridge (not freezer) around 6:00AM.My lunch bag stayed inside a locker in an air conditioned locker room. Food was cold as if it was just taken from the fridge. Heat the food up for 3 minutes on a 500-watts microwave, but my appetite changed so my food was left to cool down before returning the food back to my lunch bag. The food was still warm.Then around 5:00PM, I checked the food and the ice pack. The inside of the bag is still cold, some of the frozen gel inside the ice pack already melted, around 3/4 of the total size/shape of the ice pack gel melted.This is my first time purchasing ice packs but experience on the product is good since I don't have anything to compare this product with. Hopefully the plastic that is used to house the gel will not get punctured easily. It feels like one of those plastic thick bags that is being used to ship products.

I put these packs in the freezer and I am trying them out today. I will see how long they keep things cold in my office! So I will update this review in a few days.

I purchased these hot packs to replace some that were worn. They heat up fast and keep food warm for hours.

I use them primarily for the cold feature, for my lunches. They work great! They're still partially frozen at the end of my work day.

They seem to freeze colder and last longer than the ice packs they replaced.
