Worth It
My most expensive purchase and thankfully a purchase I made that I did not regret. It came in a box bubble wrapped with care. It also arrived early than expected which was a nice treat. This is the compilation of instrumental tracks MF DOOM realised over a series until 2006 when this came out in limited printing. You even have instrumentals as bonus tracks from the album Black Bastards. This is worth what I paid for since I got to enjoy almost 5 hours of music in a 3 disc set. Check this out when you have time to kill.

Why are all the tracks out of order/misnamed?
Why are all the tracks out of order/misnamed? Very frustrating. MF DOOM killed these beats though so it's all good. It's just annoying to reference a beat by one name and then to see the box set you just bought references it by another. Plus I want to be able to look tracks up on whosampled, which is nearly impossible with this box set.I want to know if MF DOOM did this on purpose? Or is it a colossal screw up? My theory is that he did it on purpose in order to keep us from looking up what he sampled for each track. Or he was twisted when he signed off on the whole box set thing and messed up the track names and order.

It's Okay.
Honestly, being an emcee myself, I purchased this box set to record a promo tape with. I gave it 4 stars because the FEW that I actually liked was very good. Some of the songs have poor quality. Out of the 82 tracks, I seriously only like 22. I still rate it high because the 22 I liked, where amazing, and others might have different taste in beats. All in all, DOOM has some "diamonds in the ruff" on here.

Doom's Masterpiece 🔥🍃🍃💨🙏
Literally a Masterpiece of chilled out beats. This little 3 cd box set is straight fire. Any Metal Fingers fan, this is a must have. If you're like me, love instrumental beats/hip hop, support Doom and purchase the album. All you need to do is insert cd, take a toke or two, and press shuffle. Let them chill vibes hit. Don't forget to turn it up 🤙

DOOM Makes Magic Behind the Boards.
You simply can't go wrong with MF Doom instrumentals. Whether cleaning house, lounging, reading a book, or entertaining guests, his beats hit all the right notes. The Jazzy boom bap style is mellow, but not too much so, and the lack of lyrics make it perfect for concentration (or possibly for someone who doesn't care for rapping). Quality vinyl with a bonus 7 inch. What's not to love? Long live instrumental hip-hop!

Awesome Set
I got this and I have loved all these tracks from him and it was awesome man, I stayed outside for a long time with this on a nice summer day, just chilling and bumping these beats. I should say it's a 3 Cd set, no 9 cd's, it's gathers though all of them for a nice mix, and the album art is dope. This cd is FRESH! Jus remember ALL CAPS when you spell the man's name!

Key Word "Special"
This box set delivers on every level. It's just an amazing collection of wicked DOOM beats, all of which have that mellow feel to them like you could listen to them forever. You'll recognize a lot of the beats from his work but there is also a lot of "new" stuff on this box set. All of the tracks are amazing and each disc flows well giving off a real cool vibe. A real must have for any fan of DOOM or hip-hop

Quality Hip Hop!
This instrumental album shows Doom at his consistent creative best, there's nothing featured for a Doom fan to dislike. No raps from the man himself, but you will find some sampled speech on the tracks "Vervain" & "Peach Extract", the track "Coca Leaf" samples women singing. It takes some working out because some of the tracks appear on different Doom albums under different names. Great production and a marked difference especially when compared to a lot of the so called Hip Hop that's around today. A "must have" for an avid collector, don't sleep on this.

So good
This compilation CD is honestly epic, think I got a new favourite here... Gonna have this on for weeks! Timeless. If you've even heard of MF DOOM before, or you're a fan of his or of hip hop or jazz in general, you'll love it. Bought it on a whim after hearing the previews of Vol. 1 on iTunes and thought screw paying £7 just for Vol. 1 when I can get them all for £15, and with a bonus CD too, not part of the Special Herbs compilation.Seriously good. Would recommend you buy it, if you're on this page already, you'll love it.

Essential to doom fans and beat heads alike
This collection of instrumentals is essential for any fans of DOOM and producers who want inspiration. There are many familiar beats on this while others are not so recognisible, but DOOMS genius sampling and drums make it an enjoyable and fascinating experience throughout. A must have for anyone interested in making beats or just people who love the super villain.

dope beats
dope beats as usual from the metal fingered one himself, really good to bang on in the background and do some college work to.
