Fun for princess loving girls who love to draw and color- a really great gift!! I remember the Fashion Plates my daughter had and loved many years ago and these are so cute and of high interest for my granddaughter!

This simple gift afters hours of fun and creativity. Boys and Girls both enjoy creating and this answers that need.

I had these when I was little probably 30 years ago and wanted to show my 6 yr old. She loves it! Doesn’t feel as sturdy as I remember but love the carrying case & def worth the price!

This was great for my daughter who loves barbies, princesses, fashion, and simple crafts. I had the original version 40 years ago and this one is fairly comparable. Obviously it is flimsier and lighter-weight than the older styles as all toys these days are, but it’s functional and it seems the images appear with a bit more ease than the older version. It does leave streaks and smudges on the paper, but my daughter doesn’t care. The main reason I’m reviewing is because SO many people mentioned that the carrying case doesn’t hold the set securely. That simply isn’t true in my experience. The box clearly shows how to pack it all in the case properly, and when I did that, no problems at all! As you can see in the pics I included, it all fits and when suspending it in mid-air, everything stays securely. Would definitely purchase again!

My daughter had fashion plates when she was youn* and so when I saw them in Disney Princess’ I thought I would get it for my great niece for Christmas. When she saw what it was, she was so excited. The set is made just like the original. Good quality.

Picked this up for my niece, who loved it immediately. But not nearly as much as my sister and cousin, who spent countless hours playing with this as kids. This is perfect if you have someone that loves Barbie and all those typical "girly" dress-up toys and things, but you really don't want to keep filling the house with all that stuff. This lets them pick out the styles and outfits they want and color them however they want. They get to be their own little fashion designer. Seems to be strong plastic, is easy to use (no supervision), has it's own travel case, and is perfect for anyone young who can draw and color well right up through adults. Seriously, anyone who likes playing with fashion or dress-up would probably enjoy this.

Perfect nostalgia for us millennial grown ups!! Lots of hours of fun and creative energy to use.

These plates are great. My two girls love assembling various outfits and utilizing the plate system to make an crayon impression to then fill in color-wise. It's simple to use as you just open it up, select the plates for the various body pieces, and then put the piece of paper under the clamp. Once clamped you then just take the black crayon piece and rub it across the paper to get the etching. Then you can remove the etching and color as you want. We ended up using both the paper that came with the kit and using full printer paper and both worked. The paper that comes with it is smaller cut so it fits a bit better but regular paper does work so even if you run out you can continue the fun. Only downside is it's a shame there's no set of additional outfits to purchase as that would be a nice add-on for future birthdays as they really like it.

My daughter loves to draw princess and Barbie’s, she loves being able to draw outfits with designs with this. I’m was impressed with the quality of this item when it arrived, we bring this often to my sons hockey games and all the girls want a chance to use, we have often brought for long car rides and on the plane. It’s compact enough for travel, which was a must for me.
