Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead vellum paper prayer flag. These contain the traditional rhymes in Spanish: "Solo los muertos no tienen problemas." "El muerto al pozo y el vivo al gozo." "Los muertos ai cajon y los vivos al fieston." These delicate prayer flags are hand-stamped on vellum paper with India Ink. Each panel is a 2 ½" square and there are 9 panels (full length of strand 25") Two little suction cups are included so that the strand can be hung in a window where (light shines through the semi-transparent vellum). They are part of a project in Juarez, Mexico that provides work to women who working to support their families. All our proceeds go directly to the families that make the prayer flags- providing blessings to those receiving them, and blessings to those who make them!
