MSRElixir 2-Person Lightweight Backpacking Tent

A brand passing budget gear limits but can be found in places for very reasonable cost… for me its designed to be a lower height of a dome tent but have the profile length of the lower subtle low ground tents.

Been through rain, wind, sun all sorts of conditions and still holds strong

Solid 3 season tent, not the lightest you can get but a lot of bang for your buck as its solid in wind and rain, easy to put up and take down.

I really like this tent. Much nicer than my previous camping experiences. High quality construction, with everything fitting just right.Comes with the footprint sheet included; this is something none of the retailers seemed to be aware of and I nearly paid out a lot of money for a separate one.Great ventilation. No problems at all with using it.My only complaint is that the zips are basically cheap zips and while they work, they easily catch on the adjacent fabric. This of course is a problem with zips on most clothing too. (I totally avoid clothing which does this). It can be avoided by design i.e. cutting the material so it doesn't leave an edge which can get into the zip. Operating the zips in the dark is more or less certain to catch them (both the inner and outer zips catch) and then you are in there cursing and looking for the torch so you can find the bit which is stuck. Maybe a £1000 tent doesn't have this :)

A fab wild camp tent it’s lightweight takes 5min to assemble and very roomy I left the cover off but was a little cold despite warm temperature but that may just be me …worth a purchase for sure you won’t be disappointed!!! Only criticism is it’s bright white not great for blending in to background ….

Very well made tent and packs down small enough for backpack wild camping. Good weight. 2 man is snug with 2 pax but porches either side provide ample space for boots and bags one side, cooking and brewing on other. Pitching although easy enough, needs to be on perfectly flat ground. Any unevenness leaves the outer fly too short to cover the inner tent. I have made a webbing strap template the same size as ground sheet so outer can be pitched first in rain. Holds up well in high wind and extremely dry in heavy rain. Wildcamp recommended kit.
