Tru-SpecMens BDU Coat, Khaki, Medium Short

I really like it and was just what I was looking for. It is perfect for the transition between fall and winter. I wear mostly black so this fits the bill with the rest of my black outfit. What can I say, I'm a native New Yorker. The only reason I can't give it five stars is the damn sleeves. I'm a stocky short guy and the sleeves are very long and wide (others have mentioned this in their previous reviews). Luckily they do adjust, but because they are so long, they bunch up.Having said that, the rest of the jacket is so good, I will deal with the sleeves.

I was worried about fit because I am broad across the top, I wear a 3X but its hard to find something that fits correctly, so being 6 foot and never having purchased Tru-Spec before I really researched about sizing and went with a 3X Long. Fits perfect, however the sleeves I swim in so going to take this to a tailor and have them take an inch or so off to get the correct fit.. This seems a little thin as far as the material goes. There are ZERO POCKETS for elbow pads and there is no velcro for name or rank, that will have to be added. No velcro around the neck or on the sleeves but I can add that, i also purchased the 5.11 pants at the same time and the color of the multicam matches exactly, giving it 4 stars because when something is MIL-SPEC it should MATCH MILITARY SPEC and in my opinion this product does not, it is a close copy..

This order was for 2 additional jackets, because I loved the first one. The Poly-cotton rip-stop material looks sharp, without wrinkles. The button pockets work great (no velcro! I hate the noise of velcro!). The sleeve cuffs unbutton to allow roll up (no velcro on the cuffs, either! Happy camper!). 4 starsCurrently there are no interior pockets (probably because they're not a part of original BDU design). To get star 5 I'd like to see interior pockets added for passport, airline boarding passes, wallet, etc., and this garment would morph into the ulimate durable, casual travel jacket.

This camo net could go either way and end up being better rated a year from now or it could take a hit. The color is good and overall coverage density is good, but I am a bit concerned about longevity as it is very lightweight and has no reinforcement netting. For the price, if it lasts a few years with multiple set-ups and take-downs in the field, I'll be happy enough with it.

Was a little bigger than expected.

I looked far and wide for something as amazing as this camo net, but this was the only net that was over 8 feet long that I had found to be durable, green on one side & desert tan on the other side, and super light weight. I'm bringing this with me on my bike tour across the states.
