This would be great, except the protective covering appears to be put on before the frame, which means in my case, it didn't come off around the edges. I spent about 30 minutes trying to peel off tiny pieces of plastic around the edges with my fingers, and then resorted to using a pair of tweezers, and still couldn't get it off. I finally just stuck it on the wall with jagged plastic around the edges of the board, and it's already colored from the chalk dust and looks terrible. For the price, it's not a bad deal I suppose, but I think this will only be temporary and I'll replace it with something more visually appealing. The answers to questions say you can use chalk markers on this. I tested one in a corner of the board. I haven't tried wiping it off yet, so the results are TBD.Edit: changed from 3 to 4 stars for great customer service. Unfortunately the instructions to cut the film before trying to remove it are only on the website, not included with the product, and I just saw them (after the fact). Definitely do this before removing the film. I will also verify that chalk markers do work, and wipe off easily (I used a cleaning spray, but it came off easily enough that I think water would probably work as well).

This is a great product! I love how they provide chalk and dry erase markers to go with the board(s). I teach English to students online, so I needed some sort of message board to help teach some lessons. The board is a decent size, not too big, but also not so small so my students could not read the board on an easel behind me.The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because taking the plastic adhesive cover off each side was difficult. I still have little pieces of plastic adhesive stuck to the sides. I assume they cover the boards with the adhesive then put the frame on. I've tried ripping the plastic but then I all I get is a frayed piece of plastic still firmly stuck to the sides.Also, it's a little difficult to erase both sides. I use the chalk and markers included, but for some reason I have to put some serious elbow grease into erasing each side (both chalk and markers). Leaving writing on the dry erase side for a few days, it takes a lot of muscle to erase it.Overall I am pleased with this purchase.

This set is great for posting reminders at home. We’ve only used the dry erase side so far but I’m sure we’ll get to the chalkboard side soon. There are no stains left after erasing when you use the eraser provided but the magnet of the eraser falls off often and that’s the only hiccup with this purchase . Definitely recommend.
