The Herbal Rx Immune Booster stimulates resistance to many acute illnesses and general immune responses. It helps stimulate white blood cells, T-cells and killer cells and increases and strengthens the body's powers of resistance. It can also be given when exposure to other birds is expected, such as shows, boarding and vet visits. Immune Booster is intended for situational rather than long term use. Great Stuff for Parrots
Occasionally something will come up and I feel I need to protect our flock's health a bit more, or dial-in their nutrition just a bit with herbal supplements. Avitech Herbal Bird Rx has a winner with their Immune Booster. I put drops of the tincture on our parrots' wet foods for maybe a week at a time, and often use it in conjunction with Twin Beaks Aviary Herb Salad (which has certain overlapping ingredients, although in dried form). One of our parrots will often have smelly poop if his diet is too high in protein and/or he gets picky and doesn't eat enough raw, organic vegetables and juicy fruits. These two herbal supplements, working in tandem with renewed efforts to get him to eat something other than his favorite foods, will quickly cause his poops to lose their offensive odor. I also use this Immune Booster in conjunction with Avitech's moringa powder as a cyclic anti-parasitic treatment for our flock.
