Southern Air

Yellowcard have been going for a while now, and with every new CD there's always been the wonder in the back of my mind whether this next one will be their downfall. I haven't been disappointed until now...and this one's no different!I'm not going to go into a detailed breakdown of each song, but I haven't heard one on the album I haven't liked yet, and there's something about the album which is both the same as Yellowcard have always been, and they've evolved and grown as well. There's a slightly heavier sound in some songs, a more chilled out vibe in others, but the beautiful harmonies, violin lines and great arrangements still shining through.And an amazing bonus that it's signed! (Took a bit of finding as it's on the cover notes rather than on the front / CD, but still there nonetheless!)

I've been following this band since Ocean avenue the album that made me fall in love with the band. This kind of violin rock makes Yellowcard such a unique sound and they have such an energy that the music always puts a smile on my face even when the tones of the song are not the happiest. This album is another amazing addition to a stunning catalogue of albums I honestly cannot wait to have them tour the uk again. it is such a shame that they are so underrated but as greedy as it makes me seem everytime they tour the venues are tiny at that makes it that little bit special as it feels more personal and is always mindblowing (academy 2 in manchester was the most recent its like a shoebox HA!) they deserve to be heard and loved by everyone. you will not be dissapointed by this album!

Yellowcard I have liked since they came on the scene as they have a very unique sound combining pop-punk/punk rock/rock with violin, they have such catchy melodies and good lyrics as well!New album is very good, last one was excellent.

I'm still not sure about Yellowcard's new sound.I am definitely one of those still yearning for them to return to their musical roots.'Here I Am Alive' and 'Ten' definitely have to be my favourite songs on the album, but I'm really disappointed that you can't hear Tay's voice at all - why bother asking her to collab with you, if you're going to make her voice really quiet?

Such a great album, with the fast catchy songs like Here I am Alive all the way too the poignant and heart touching Ten. Lovely to have a signed edition too, thanks amazon!

Really enjoy listning to YC love this album, comes with a papercase appose to a plastic one, every song is as good as each other.

A fantastic CD again by the American rock band. Delivered and packaged well again. Well worth buying to listen to a very good rock CD

I adore Yellowcard, they're one of my all-time favourite bands. When this item was available I just had to have it! The autographs of some of my idols. It's an amazing album and a band I tell everyone to listen to. Such a brilliant item!
