V76 by Vaughn Styling Cream Medium Hold, 1.7 Fl Oz

I've been growing my thick hair out for the past year and it has now got to the length (about 8-9 inches so far) where a pomade has become increasingly unsuitable. After some Youtube research I determined that this could be a more suitable product and so I bought a tube. The first thing that struck me about this product is that a little goes a very long way so I expect the tube to last at least a few weeks with daily application. The product does a decent job of styling my hair and keeping it in place and off my face throughout the day without a rigid hold, it defrizzies my hair very well, and while the smell is somewhat unusual, it is not unpleasant by any means to me. The cream is not greasy and washes off both my hands and out of my hair easily, so daily shampooing is not necessary, (I prefer to just condition my hair daily and also wash with shampoo just every 2-3 days.) The only downside I have so far is the expense of this cream compared to the pomade I used to use, but as so little is required that is not a deal breaker. I'll definitely be buying more when I need to.

I've only been using this product for one week, but I really like this product. In fact, I've already bought another bottle/tube of it. I had been looking for basically this exact product (more like I had hoped someone had created this kind of product) because once hair gets to a certain length, pomade, etc. doesn't work as it just gets stuck/clumpy. Also, hair tonic doesn't hold that well. I needed something both creamy and viscous, as well as easy to apply while not sticky to the touch (at least once it is in the hair). This does the job! It holds my hair style in place very well (an angled slick back) and keeps the texture of my hair very soft to the touch. This product does a decent, but not perfect job keeping fly aways down. Also, the smell is definitely not overwhelming, although you do get a whiff every so often throughout the day and I happen to find it a pleasant smell. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this product to any gentleman with longer hair (3+ inches) and/or trying to grow his hair out.

I've bought and tried so many damn creams / gels / etc.. This is probably the most well rounded product I've ever found and on top of everything... It has a unique and amazing smell. I can't put my finger quite on it, but it has such a unique and luxurious smell, but definitely not over the top or overpowering at all. Depending on the quantities you use of this cream, it can create a natural look or a more wet / glossy look. I've even found I can brush it out a bit more to get something in-between or just go back to natural. Regardless, this is now my favorite styling product and I'll be tossing all the other ones in the trash at this point.Well done V76!

This stuff is great . I It doesnt make your hair greasy nor does it become rock hard. Its easy to apply and washes off hands easily . It combs in well and doesn't leave white globs. The medium hold works perfectly for me. It keeps the style even in windy conditions . I have nothing but good things to say about this product . For me, the absolute best part is the smell of it. Im not sure why but its addictingly plesent smelling. It never gets old and the women love the smell too. I have tried many different types from many different brands. V76 by Vaughn is hands down my favorite. I just happened to get my hair cut from a barber shop in Hoboken NJ a year ago and the Barber used this on me after my cut. I liked it so much that I went back asking what the brand was and if there were any for purchase.

I’m not typically critical when it comes to grooming products, but this product is an exception. It has a very strong smell, and it’s not a particularly good one. The consistency of the cream itself is really greasy and doesn’t hold my hair in place very well, plus it gets a little crispy. I really can’t overstate the strength of the weird scent, though.

This product works great. It is a small quantity, and much more liquid that would be expected. Need to shake well first, apply a small amount and see how well it holds down your hair. After getting used to the best method to apply, this fixative has a nice, mild scent.

This product is fake, save yourself the hassle and buy it from bluemercury or the salon. Like water, no the creamy gel texture I had purchased previously from the salon. The smell is off too, would not trust whatever this is going in my hair.

This is a travel size and I did not use the product until after the return period (missed by 3 days). On my trip, I opened the product to find it mostly water. I use the full-size product all the time and really like that. However, the contents of what I received was not as advertised.
