Hamish the Highland Cow

I bought this book as a present for a boy who was nearly three. It was perfect and he loved the story of Hamish the highland cow who badly needed a haircut after he got all sorts of nasty things stuck in his long hair. It is a great read and the pictures are fun and a good way to show children that having their haircut can be fun.

Schnelle Lieferung und sehr guter Zustand. Eine sehr liebevolle Geschichte über einen kleinen Sturkopf. Die Kinder lieben dieses Buch - auch ohne Englischkenntnisse.

Cute book! My son loves it. Wish it came in board-book format, he has "read" it so much that we have had to tape the pages back together.

Die Geschichte ist total süß. Mein Sohn hat einen zusätzlichen Bezug dazu, weil er in Schottland ein muhendes Cattle geschenkt bekommen hat und wir es zufällig auch Hamish getauft haben.Es ist auch toll, dass man man eine 2sprachige Geschichte vorlesen/erzählen kann, so bekommen die Kinder auch noch nen Tupfer Englsich mit ... :o)Was mir nicht so gefällt ist, dass die Zeichnungen etwas wild sind, also zu viele Farben und schemenhafte Darstellungen. Aber unser Kleiner ist ja auch erst knapp 3...
