Pumice Stone for Cleaning (12-Pack) - High Density, Sturdy, Fine Grit

It's pumice, A lightweight volcanic rock extrusion that can be made into a useful cleaning product. Pumice stones are an old fashioned cleaning item great for removing mineral deposits on anything such as toilet bowls, teapots, tile, plant pots etc. It removes these deposits by being harder than the mineral deposit but softer than the underlying material such as porcelain ceramic. It scrapes of the deposits without scratching the ceramic.So, is the "Power House Pumice Stone" any better than the one most of us have used, the Pumice Scouring Stick by U.S. Pumice? Well, actually, I do prefer it. As far as I can determine, Here is the main difference. Powerhouse pumice is softer, has a more consistent texture and a finer grain to it. Because of it's finer, softer texture, the scouring surface wears down to match the surface you are working on faster and better. That's it. That's the difference. Power House Pumice wears down faster and let me tell you, that is a good thing! The faster the scouring surface wears down to match the surface you are scrubbing, the faster you will get that job done.Folks might complain that since Powerhouse is softer it will wear down faster and they'll have to but it more often. Yup. You will. But hey, it's still Pumice- It's cheap. Buy the two pack and save!I got my toilet cleaned so much faster with Powerhouse than US Pumice that I actually went ahead and tackled the rings of baked on grime around the burners of my white stove top. Something I have never wanted to tackle. Did not take too long and it was kinda satisfying. I have used it on some Bonsai Pots and while they do not look pristine, at least the ring of white is gone making them look a whole lot better. I also used them successfully to clean some sap of the blades of a pair of garden pruners.Unlike the owner of Powerhouse Pumice for whom pumice really rocks, I just cannot find it in me to tell everybody to rush out and buy a Powerhouse Pumice Stone. However, if you do use pumice stones, you should try this one. If you have never tried one, pumice stones are useful, affordable gadgets and Powerhouse makes the better product.As long as I need a Pumice stone, I will buy a PowerHouse.

This product is INCREDIBLE! Here's my story...We recently moved to a 20 year old house with well water. Because of the septic system we are on, I'm really careful not to use harmful cleaning products. The problem is that the "green" cleaning products did not work. We inherited 3 toilets with permanent water rings, many sinks in a tone of brown which were originally bright white. I had begun to think about replacing fixtures because any amount of spraying or scrubbing did nothing to fix our always dirty looking fixtures.There was a discussion I came across online where someone recommended pumice stone as a cleaner. The discussion was that it does wonders, so I thought it was a proper investment if I were really going to replace fixtures if I couldn't get everything clean.I came across this 2 pack and tried it right away. I am incredibly excited to share that the toilets look BRAND NEW! It took a bit of scrubbing since I had at least 4+ years of build up to attack. I used about half of one stone on a regular sized bathroom (including tub, toilet and 2 sinks). The results are tremendous! I'm truly excited to show off my work and almost can't believe that there is a reasonable solution for cleaning without major harsh chemicals. Buy it!

Not only is this a kinder, gentler pumice stone than the gray ones I used to buy, but it works better and is easier to use. We started using the gray colored pumice from another supplier on our new toilets to hopefully keep them cleaned--did the job, but they were harsh and also removed porcelain. These are just so much better. Not only that, but we live in remote Alaska and use a propane stove. Very hard to clean without taking it apart. I put off cleaning for years! Used these on my oven--wish I had taken before and after pics, because my oven is now spotless. And it was easy. Now I'm off to discover other items to use these on. I think I do go through them faster, but I just order more--it's worth every dime. Will update after I work on tile.

I bought these for cleaning and they worked for most of my cleaning jobs. I used one for the shower and the other for the toilet bowl; the toilet is as white as ever but the shower I had to scrub quite a bit and the pumice stone wore very quickly. They are very fine or high density and are not as harsh, so I will continue to use these for cleaning solutions.

It is a great easy cleaning tool. I purchased the 12 pack. They are wrapped 4 in a pack and each one is individually wrapped.If you get a ring in your tonier or under the rim of the toilet this cleans it easily and beautifully.I cleaned the shower handle with it, it now sparkles like new.I cleaned the glass in my shower I had a hard water build up now it is crystal clear.Very easy to use. There is no harsh chemical smell to deal with. After cleaning with the pumice you will need to rinse the area you cleaned as it will leave a slight sandy like residue. Very easy to rinse off.So far I have cleaned glass, porcelain and metal with this I recommend this 100%.

I've always wondered why the dang cleaning lady can get that pesky ring off my toilet but regardless of how long I scrub or how hard (or how frustrated I get for that matter), I can never get it out. Well the cleaning lady finally gave up the trick! It's a pumice! So I ordered this one and used it right away (these are the things I get excited about now), and it worked perfectly. This is the best pumice available on Amazon in my opinion. It was gentle, didn't make that horrid scrapping noise I was expecting and its a great value! Also, this works on a lot of other surfaces I didn't consider such a grout! I'll be trying that next!

Bought these based on Amazon reviews in hopes they would help clean my toilets. Instead, they abraided the finish in my Toto toilets that was supposed to reduce staining, and the staining is much worse than before. I did give them two stars since they might be good for some other use, but my unused units will be donated to a rummage sale.
