This pit smoked bacon jerky is absolutely delicious.

Cook it like bacon
This isn’t typical jerky. You cook it like you would do bacon. It’s fantastic as a base for soup or sauces or casseroles. You render it slowly & set aside. Use the fat in the pan to sauté your aromatic veggies, then add the cooked bacon jerky at the end. Delicious!
