Love this Valve
I've been using this type valve for 30 years and just love it. I finally had to buy a new one in 2012 as the seals in my old one finally began to leak. I find the long chrome snout to be near perfect to dust off photos and slides before scanning, to clean out plugged sprinkler heads in the yard, and to clean items in the shop. However, the Type III refill cans that go with the valve are getting extremely hard to find...they used to be available at my neighborhood camera store...now the camera store itself is gone...and now the cans are barely available off the web.The Dust-Pro line of refills works great with the nozzle...no leaks over several months. I buy a few (typically 12oz) cans at a time to save on shipping and don't have any problem with shelf life over a couple of years. The key problem that I've had is with the Dust-Pro suppliers...there are two sizes of refills that Dust Pro sells: an 8oz can and a 12oz can. Both take the identical Type III valve, but the price between the two sizes can vary considerably. Generally the 12oz size is less expensive per ounce of gas, and is still a very comfortable size to hold and use...that's what I often buy. The problem is that very often the suppliers don't clearly note the size: 8oz or 12oz, and often show the 8oz photo for the 12oz can. Look carefully at the Peca product number or bar code number to confirm the size that you're buying. Also compute the cost per ounce to get the best price.Bottom Line: GREAT NOZZLE and valve...but note that finding the matching cans is a bit of an issue.

Peca TV301 Techni Valve for DP612
Very nice piece, BUT be careful not to lose the *O ring as it sits in there loosely.

Quality Construction
Very good construction. Easy to adjust air pressure. Remember to keep the O-ring lubricated or it won't seal well. When I first connected an air can I couldn't get a 100% seal no matter how tight I screwed the valve. I removed the O-ring to apply a light coat of oil for a complete seal with only moderate tightness. Good shipping and packing.
