Brinn and Davis meet on Christmas Eve night lust at first sight for both of them, Brinn goes over to Davis's house and they have a night to remember panty melting HOT. A family emergency happens and they end up spending Christmas Day with Brinn's family as Davis's s is not a fan of the holiday.So one night turns into a month as Brinn is transferring to another store after a promotion and two hours away from Davis but Davis wants her to stay but for once Brinn is putting herself and her career before love.What is going to happen? Can they work things out?A nice Christmas romance with plenty of smut and laughs.

Amazing read that was beautifully written and crafted loved the story and the character's of Brinn and Davis loved there chemistry and humour! love karla style of writing with every book I've read of her's. Her writing jumps out at you from the very first chapter wanting you to read more what more could you ask for from a writer and from a book!

I was torn between loving this hero one minute and then wanting to hit him upside his hard head the next. I love a prickly hero who's down on love, wanting to keep it simple and only about sex, because it's so fun when that guy gets hit with love! The shaved head, the times Davis is a bit of a jerk, his fine, sexy chef self hot up in kitchen, it all worked for me. But stubborn, stubborn man.I thought Brinn was a sweet heroine, fun and likable, just really open, not bitter, just a person you'd like to be around. She and Davis had great sexual chemistry together, playful and sexy and fun. The sex was really hot, especially that one scene toward the end of the book. Super hot. Oral, anal, and all the good stuff in between. Hot sex, and even better to see this couple fall in love despite themselves. There are some jealous moments, and I thought Brinn had pretty good reason for her reactions, but I loved it when Davis got a bit of what jealousy feels like from his side of things.I'm so glad Brinn stood her ground, even when it was hard. You can love someone, but sometimes you have to do what's best for you, even if only to make a point. Stubborn men sometimes have to be shown the hard way. When things got too close, there's Davis acting like a horse not wanting to be saddled. I just wanted to spur his azz. But he does come through and has a couple of pretty romantic moments in the story.Prickly, growly hero in need of love and patience; a sweet, tender heroine with a dirty mind; some very hot sex during Christmastime and thereafter; and a really sweet two-years-later epilogue made for a sweet and very sexy little read.
