Spring Loaded 510 Connector 22mm with Floating Pin 2 PCS

While many other 510 connectors have a horizontal positive pin soldering hole you can put wire straight through, this one has a vertical divot, which is very difficult to do. If you don’t do it extremely quickly, I could see the plastic piece inside melting. Similarly, the plastic piece broke on one of the two pieces before I even started soldering. Will not be using these again, but they’re cheap enough that it’s not worth the trouble of doing a return.

These seem nice at first, but the white plastic part that holds the pin in place wear out very quickly with light use. I've got two different builds with these connectors now and in each case, it is the first component to fail, usually within a month or two. Would not recommend for anything permanent.

I was skeptical, but easily and trouble free assembly to my application. And it has held up. Just needed to add an additional washer at the under-base.

Good fit. Quality components. Very low impedance. Good quality connector.
