Philips Senseo HD7810 Pod Single Serve Coffee Maker - Black

Just pick a pod or two from a vast array of flavors and strengths, place it on the handy tray, add water to the removable container, close the lid, and push the button for one or two cups. I’m not sure why they ever discontinued this model! I have had one for almost 15 years and it is still hanging in there (leaks a bit, which is why we were looking for a new one). We bought the new model, but doesn’t froth like the older one and coffe is not nearly as hot. For the record, tried kureig and Nespresso. Nothing matches my old senseo! Plus, with the “duck” accessory, I just buy regular coffee, no pods! If you can still find one, buy it!!!

I love this single coffee maker, this is my second one, I fear those coffee makers are being phased out, sad.

I will never understand why Senseo or Philips or whoever owns this company now can't see fit to continue to sell and support the Senseo brewers in the U.S. It makes better coffee than ANY of the other single serve brewers, and the pods/pads are eco-friendly. AND you can use the same machine to make an excellent cup of American coffee or a perfect 2 or 4 ounce espresso. This one is the HD7810 model. The SL7832 model is more versatile, but like the 7810, you can't find it new in the U.S. And if you need to get it repaired, forget it. Philips, what the heck are you thinking? This machine could dominate the single serve market in the U.S., if you only market it properly. Shame on you.
