Tone and scan features are confusing. Here we'd call it tone

Muy buen desempeño
Este prodcuto lo adquiri hace un par de meses y no tengo queja de el. Pero recomiendo encarecidamente poner baterias alcalinas o recargables porque la funcion de tono y busqueda consumen mucha bateria. por lo demas es excelente producto

A great tool for field techs
This works much better than the basic toner I have had for years. The old one could not find a tone from any reasonable distance. This one is much better and has more than one function.

No signal tone. Poor quality
2 friends have the older model. Theirs both work. I bought the newer model and it doesn't work. I ended up borrowing theirs and it did work so I can't say they're all junk. My return window closed before I ever used it so I'm stuck with a useless tool. I may try to fix it but my suggestion is spend more for better quality.

Good enough for simple use
Battery compartment is a little tight. Get similar model without the Network Wire Connectors (roughly a dollar for each RJ45 connector, not worth it).
