Pourfect 9-Piece Measuring Cup Set, White

When you dump something from a measuring cup into a bowl, do you pour it by tipping the cup up lenghthwise? Me neither. I twist my wrist and dump it out the side. So I'm not sure why the tapered end of these is on the tip instead of the side. Maybe it's not for the pouring but for scooping? But I don't scoop from the end either. I'm kind of baffled as to why they're pointed at all. That said, it really doesn't affect their functionality, Rose Levy Beranbaum says they're accurate, and I like the no-slip bottoms.

I don't cook all that often because I am afraid that I am going to burn down the house or poison myself due to my inability to make toast and boil water. But I needed something to help measure my ingredients for when my bread making machine makes bread and whatever else I decide to try and make. I looked around at stores and online for measuring cups and everything I found was made in China, why am I not surprised. I have been trying to find things that are made in the USA to help support us, and not China, and then I came across this batch! These are made here in the USA and I immediately purchased them without second thought! I only wish they were not red in color because I am just not a huge fan of red, plus the written measurements on the handles a bit hard to read at times. But excluding that, these are great because they stack together and are made in the USA. They feel very sturdy and feel like they won't be breaking anytime soon. So throw out your old measuring cups and buy some American made ones!

Was very excited to find these measuring cups. OMG! It has so many different sizes as do the matching measuring spoons. You just need to get used to all the sizes once you do that they are wonderful. I feel like I'm cheating when my recipe calls for 2 cups of flour and 1 1/2 cups sugar, I just use the 2 cup and the 1 1/2 cup how easy and fast is that! Normally it would be four times scooping now it's only two so it creates less of a mess! Love the fact that there are so many unusual sizes making it a breeze to use. I got the Measuring cups and spoons in the Apple Green for myself and for my newlywed daughter I got her a set of both in the cheery Yellow. Try these you will be happy!

These are good nesting measuring cups. They have flat bottoms so they can stand on the counter, starting at a 1/2 cup they have no-slip rings mounted on the bottoms, and have a wide variety of sizes. The measurements are not painted on, but are made of raised plastic in both US and metric units. They require some room to store in a drawer due to their quantity and durable thick plastic construction, I had to make multiple stacks. They are easy to level, even with the pour spout and if you need it, have a pour spout. I recommend these to anyone who wants a decent full set of measuring cups. If you want life-long, go stainless steel 18/8 or 18/10, or do what I did and get both. I paired this set with the RSVP endurance set so I would have the best of both worlds.

I just adore these, I got them in pink, which is the most perfect pink that I like, and I wasn't sure about them though they got good reveiws, but I am so pleased and could not be more pleased. The first time around I wanted to buy them I waited too long and they were sold out, but to my surprise the next time I looked they were back and so I got them right away.. I really am completely pleased with this set,, thank you

They appear to be accurate and nest well together for easy storage. My only problem is the edges came attached with very fine threads of plastic left over from the manufacturing process. I had to scrape the edge of each cup with a knife to get them off. I love that it includes a 2 cup measure and 1/8 (which is the same as 2T), I use them a lot more often than I thought I would. They're dishwasher safe as well which is great and the nonslip bottom on the majority of the cups is a great idea and works well.

I was getting annoyed making recipes that called for weird measurements like 3/4 cup where I would have to use my 1/2 cup and 1/4 cup or 2/3 cup where I would have to use my 1/3 cup 2 times. It just takes more time and causes more dishes to clean. This set comes with every measurement you can think of, including 1/8 cup, which is great. My only improvement would be with the rubber bottoms. The rubber isn't very grippy so it kind of defeats the purpose of having them. The handles are great for manipulating the cups, and the shape is perfect for pouring. I would definitely buy these again.

What I love is that it truly is a complete set - only thing that would've made it more complete was if I was able to buy matching measuring spoons to go with it (I'll have to look!). This set is sturdy, and they nest beautifully and do not take up nearly as much room as you may think for 9 measuring cups. I love all the odd sized cups that normally don't come with a traditional set - that was the main reason I purchased them in the first place. It's everything I wanted, and is a great addition to all my baking accessories.

Fabulous set, so much easier to just grab the size needed rather than having to re wash or fiddle about with.

Excellent my son in law who is blind has found these so helpful when he is cooking. Fabulous for those who are visually impaired.

Ich backe viel nach amerikanischen Rezepten und wollte mir daher ein Messlöffel-Set für Cups kaufen. Dieses ist ideal, weil für jede erdenkliche Maßeinheit der richtige Messbecher da ist. Ich brauche also meist nur ein einziges Mal eine Zutat abwiegen (Bsp.: Wenn im Rezept "3/4 cup xx" gefordert ist, dann brauche ich nicht drei mal die Vierteltasse bemühen, sondern kann gleich zur Dreivierteltasse greifen.)Material wirkt stabil, die Becher nehmen kaum Platz weg, weil sie sich gut stapeln lassen. Daran werde ich viele Jahre meine Freude haben!
