Yes, the main light switch will override the remote control

Q: To change the bulb when it goes - standing underneath - do you turn the glass globe to the right (clockwise) or to the left (anti-clockwise)? Thanks.

Turn the shade anticlockwise (as you look up at it) to loosen and remove it.

Q: Are the replacement bulbs available on Amazon? If so what is the model of bulb needed? Thanks.

2 x 50w G9 Halogen bulbs are included and replacements are widely available. I'm sure they are availabel on Amazon

Q: Can you use the light on the fan with a wall timer switch when going away?

Fantasia don't supply anything like that but an electrician would be able to advise you if it's possible.
