When I received it, the seal on the box was already cut open so I suspect I received either a return or a refurbished machine. It was already set up & threaded as well but I’m not sure if they come like this anyway but little bit off putting that the seal was broken already.The machine itself worked ok so I tried mending some tops with it. It’s a bit trial and error to get the thread actually tight enough that the stitch holds but you can adjust the machine so that the stitch is looser or tighter. I’d recommend having a spare bit of material to practice on to begin with but even with adjusting the tightness it still seems to constantly need adjusting to keep the thread tight enough to hold a decent stitch so each time I use it I have to test how it sees first.Suspect I got a duff machine, which probably was returned & sent on to the next victim but I don’t mind fiddling to get it sorted and saves someone else getting saddled with it if I had returned it, cheap enough I didn’t care too much.

I had very low expectations of this sewing machine, but have happily used it to make a patchwork quilt. As an entry level machine to try out and learn from it's great. I assume for serious sewing a heavier and stronger machine would be good, but basically it works, is pretty easy to use, with some rather random online videos to support the totally incoherent Chinese instructions. Very, very hard to thread the bottom spindle, and the instructions didn't help in the least, but if you can get past the fact that it's both made in China, and explained in Chinese, then as a product it is surprisingly good - about the size of an iron, looks like a toy, but is adequate for basic sewing.

I am a 75 year old long retired man. Bought this to try and learn how to use an electric sewing machine, and indeed the thing works well on simple things which i repair. The instruction manual is gibberish though - but plenty of stuff on youtube to show you how to thread it (which is the most difficult bit). Good fun.

My first machine had a factory fault, but the seller was more than happy to send me new one, free of charge! Overall, i was impressed with my sewing machine. It is a handy mini sewing machine that is great for beginners or children. It is good for sewing hems, darts and smaller craft projects, i'm looking foward to using it more, although it takes gentle handling to get it first to work at its best.

I've never used a sewing machine. I Googled what to do and it was perfect for what I needed it for.,As will probably not use it again but I know it's there if needed.Must admit almost got addicted to it it was so useful

I tried to use this product but I was never able to get the needle setup so I could use it. SAD!

Perfect for mostly everything, i even used to sew a pair of jeans and it got throughout, a bit difficult but its doing an excelent job, i just hope now will hold on me and not brake ❤️

So easy to use by mains or battery. Having fun with small sewing projects.Delighted customer.
