Importacion Wicker Storage Chest - 120 x 52 x 60 cm

As other reviewers have said, this is not waterproof; though that isn't a concern for me as this is going in my garage. There are no fixings supplied or required with this product as all the pieces interlock with each other. There are no instructions either; not that that was a major problem, after all it's only a box. I assembled this in under five minutes, and the method I adopted was as follows:I attached the two long sides to one of the short sides, then I attached the other short side to both long sides forming a rectangle with no top or bottom (see attached diagram). All the time I did this I had the pieces standing on their edges (forming 'walls') with the top edge of each piece touching the floor. When all four pieces were joined together the studs that interlock into the base were all facing upwards. The base fitted on very easily and I then righted the box so it was standing on its base with the top facing upwards. The only slightly tricky part was attaching the lid; tricky only because the plastic hinge pieces on the lid fitted so snugly into the holes on the back wall of the box. In the end it was just a question of placing one hand inside the box with a tea towel for support (those rigid edges really hurt your hands after a while) and then giving the lid piece where the hinge is a firm strike with the heel of your other hand. Three of the four hinges went into their corresponding holes quite easily, but the last one took a hefty wallop to drive it home, with the constant fear of snapping a piece off.The finished box is quite sturdy and very lightweight. The handles on the ends though are holes that go right through to the inside (as my photo shows); so definitely not waterproof, worse still definitely not spider proof. The reason for only four stars is that it is far from weather resistant (as advertised) and at the end of the day it's sixty quid for a plastic box.

Didn't arrive on the Friday but arrived on Saturday no problem but happy with the purchase .

dissapointedly this item is not waterproof it states water and weather resistant , the seller was very accommodating and going to review the discription . you can rely on this seller to put problem right . the box apart from that is very smart and fits in the garden as a feature and not a tool box .

Not too impressed so far - just received it and it feels like a very cheap plastic but it was not a cheap price - will see how it does with the weather and the rain and update accordingly .
