Rick Clunn legendary angler!
The Luck-e-Strike STX jerkbait is a top performer. I bought one years ago when they debuted. The first cast out of the package I hooked up and every time since, I hook up with the STX! I throw mine near cover or against something like a tree and with a couple snaps of the rod tip and it’s fish on. I’d just like to add there are other comments about how it doesn’t suspend properly but the bait was designed to suspend while you work it not while it’s just been cast out and sitting where it lands. Please refer to Rick Clunn on social media including YouTube and not just comments on Amazon from amateurs. Rick Clunn is a 4X Bassmaster Classic Winner, 2X Hall of Famer, 3X FLW champion, All time leading money winner in the FLW $700,000.00 and has earned $3.25M all time, US man of the Year award. These baits work!

Waste of money. Disappointment.
I was highly disappointed with this lure for many reasons. For one, this is supposed to be a suspending jerkbait. It doesn't suspend at all. Instead, the head floats up while the tail points downwards in the water, which has the added drawback of making it difficult to impart any sort of decent action on the lure. There's also the paint on the lure, which is pretty terrible to say the least. I used this lure exactly one time, and after taking it off my line to replace it with something that doesn't have terrible performance, I noticed that the paint is already peeling off and exposing the blank beneath. That normally wouldn't be a big issue to me if it was just simple wear due to heavy amounts of use, but it's important to keep in mind that I spent less than five minutes actually fishing with this bait in total.Another knock on the bait's durability are the hooks that it comes equipped with. Again, I'm reminding you that I only actually used it for a few minutes, but they're already heavily rusting while the lure is just sitting INDOORS. It's not in a tackle box or exposed to the elements in any way whatsoever., so it shouldn't be rusting at all.I'm not sure if I just got a dud that slipped through the cracks at the factory, or if they're all this bad. Either way, it's a clear sign of extremely poor quality control from the manufacturer and I won't be wasting my money on any more Lucky Strike lures in the future from now on.

Good price compared to other brands of the same style
Good colors and not too pricy.

Spend the extra and get higher quality jerkbait
Great looking item. Too light. Does not suspend the way it should. Needs more weight toward the head.
