Nice sound quality
Used on my daughters violin and the sound quality is very good and is what we needed. The strings so far after 6 weeks work perfectly with no distress, breaking or other issues.

Just installed, stretching them out for a few days
I picked up an old West German student violin recently and am going to try to refresh my skills after many years. These Cleopatra strings fit the budget and they seem equivalent to the gut strings needed to reduce string tension on old fiddles. Never used nylon core or aluminum wound strings, but couldn’t pass up a two pack with four E strings at this price. I was able to tune them and they held their tune for about 30 minutes, which is a long time for new strings. I’d definitely recommend them for beginners and casual playing.
