Bad adapter.
Works like it should. I would rather have the real one but they stopped making them. So this is the next best thing. Update: Used to set zero torque on my prius and it stops working. Now my P/S is dead. Good thing I did not throw out my Mini vci adapter. I was able to set zero torque with it. No quality control what so ever.

Save your pcm, go official.
Had to return the first one I received because it crapped out after uploading one rom to my 05 wrx. Second one did the same. Save your psu and get the official tatrix, it didn't brick mine luckily but it is definitely a risk of that happening.
