Silhouette Electrostatic Mat for Cameo 5 / Plus, 12” x 12” - White

Finally, an electrostatic mat that wasnt all curled up on the edges! It is silhouette brand, so it is high quality with excellent grip and a great value because with prime I didn't have to pay shipping fees. The size is perfect this time too, the one I got straight from Silhouette was not square, and was curled on the edges so I was never able to make it work properly. This one was great!

Once we figured out how to use it (minimal to no instructions were included) it was wonderful and made using our silhouette cutting machine much easier. I would recommend looking up a LOT of YouTube videos about how to attach the electrostatic mat, align it and use it before making the same mistakes we did

Delivered in a shipping envelope and was flat not bent up Much better than silhouette sent theirs all creased and bent. This company really cares about the customers plus the arrival presentation of these Matt’s.

Such a great buy. Holds down delicate items and makes batch jobs very quick and easy.

This is literally the coolest thing ever. I hate dealing with sticky mats. I'm using this for cardstock and stickers and love it.

It's great to not have to use there sticky mats by using this one and for the most part it works really good but you have to keep an eye on it apparently to make sure it doesn't turn off mid-cutting. I turned around to keep working on my computer while machine was cutting, the mat turned off my vinyl got pushed off to the side and machine kept cutting. It cut through the plastic protector mat underneath and cut into the metal as well. It's happened a few times. If you're thinking maybe it for moved and lost connection, the cameo and mat attachment are on their own counter with plenty of space in front and behind, it hasn't moved to lose the connection.

I almost never leave a review but this one I feel like I have to. I understand people who've used Silhouette cutters or are in the craft community would def be very intrigued by the idea of the ES mat, but hear me out. It's a great thing when it works but this defect really is critical. THE MAT TURNS ITSELF OFF MID-CUT!! At first I thought I clicked the power button by mistake but no, it's happening repeatedly. It not only ruins the project itself but also leaves serious damage to the protection sheet and the mat itself. I now have a protection sheet that's completely cut out because of the defect (I was cutting sticker paper and the material slipped off everywhere due to the mat being off) and the mat has scoring marks here and there. If anyone working at Silhouette is reading this review, STOP RELEASING HALF-BAKED PRODUCTS LIKE THIS. I have multiple Portraits, the new Cameo 5 and other Silhouette products; they all promise great things only to fail to execute greatly (i.e. matless pop-out cuts, 5kg force, etc.) I'm returning this item and will wait on Silhouette to fix the issue before I purchase a new one.

I bought this ES mat to use with my Cameo 5a. It works well with cardstock and glossy photo paper but I can't get the cuts to line up with printable sticker paper. The cuts are constantly about 2 mm too high with the sticker paper. Despite calibrating the machine and troubleshooting for hours, I just can't use it for stickers. For everything else, it works great so that makes it worth it to me.

Es una excelente herramienta si quieres cortar papel, cartulina o vinil adhesivo. No la.he probado con otros materiales. Pero para lo que la necesito me funciona muy bien.

I LOVE the end results this creates -- not having to deal with everything I make being sticky from the mats and unpeeling everything is AWESOME. But the mat keeps turning off mid-use. I have to babysit every cut and turn the power to the mat back on again several times each cut. I am guessing the connector on the Portrait and the Mat aren't making great contact. If I can figure out how to make this stop happening, it's a great product -- if not, I'll be returning it. EDIT: The longer I've used the product, the worse its mmalfunctionshave gotten. I really wish I had returned this when I had the chance, because I hate it. So mad, such a waste of money.

TOTAL RIP-OFF BY SILHOUETTE. These are nowhere near is thick as the sheet provided with the electrostatic mat. Even a "kiss cut" makes a deep mark, so absolutely no use for anything other than the thinnest of papers. The more marks on the film the less static is holds - ABSOLUTE CRAP. Better to purchase clear vinyl. tablecloth material and cut to size.

J'adore ! J'ai découpé du papier 120 gr sur le tapis électrostatique avec ma Caméo 5a. Vraiment super l'électricité statique pour maintenir le papier ! J'ai longtemps hésité compte tenu du prix du tapis, mais je ne suis pas déçue

Gut verpackt und ohne Knicke angekommen. Funktioniert super!
