This leak light works well for the task at hand

I love this leak light. The yellow leds aren't too bright and the long light lights the whole upper and lower stacks at the same time. Very affordable, too

The LED strip is so flexible, it doesn't stay straight as you try to slide it down a horn. It would be nice if it was *semi* rigid.

Great for finding leaks in my saxophones. It would be nice if the LEDs were in rings that shined all the way around, instead of just being on one side of a tape strip. But for the price, it certainly gets the job done!

I bought this because it said it could be used for oboe. This is NOT TRUE. When used in the top part of an oboe, this product barely reaches the fourth key from the bottom, leaving seven keys completely uncheckable.The word "oboe" should be removed from the product description, as this product is completely unsuitable for looking for oboe leaks.

Technology has come a long way from the expensive leak lights I used to use to fix my instruments. This string of led lights is narrow enough to fit into an Eb clarinet and bright enough to illuminate a bass clarinet bore.

Light is very bright and makes it easy to see leaks in sax

This may be a low cost way to get a leak light but it is so bright that it cant be used with flute, or I imagine any instrument with white pads. The light is so intense that it illuminates the pad (from inside the instrument) such that there is no way to see the subtle shadows that indicate leaks.Perhaps some kind of current limiting device could dim it enough but I don't have the tools to experiment.
