Dry Rub Off Decal Paper 3 Sheets A4 - Clear Rub Onz

The Decal paper arrived quickly, but wasn't good for my purposes. I was experimenting to see if it would work for place names on little wooden objects for a friends wedding. The size I was cutting to was very small (5cm x 1cm) and was very difficult to control and too faffy for my liking. I can imagine it would work much better for bigger areas.

I'm a bit disappointed with this product. As it is called a rub-off, I assumed it works by transferring the ink, but that's not the case. The ink is embedded in a layer of glue, so technically, it shouldn't be called a "rub-off" - unless I'm doing something wrong. I'm pretty sure I was able to transfer just the ink with a previous version of this product that I bought years ago (it had a white backing sheet). This one doesn't work the same way. I can still use it - if I put a layer of matte medium on top of the glossy surface, it tones it down but it's not as good as having a genuine rub-off transfer, which looks as if the image was stamped directly on the surface, rather than stuck on it like a sticker. Does anyone know of a product that works like that? I want to use it to transfer digital stamps to paper in art journals, etc. Replies in the comments please!

fantastic product. i damaged 2 sheets before i got th eright printer setting that did alow e to print with no smudges. it took me a white to get the hang of it but the fiishing product is fab. the only problem is that is best if you use the hole page when you print as it difficult to feed the printer with a piece that has benn cut.got the item a bit later that i expeced but it was bankholiday weekend so i dont believe it was the seller

Very disappointed. Had major trouble with my Kodak printer accepting the paper. Wasted almost all sheets. Wouldn't try again. Probably user error - expensive lesson!

great product exactly what i needed just remember not to press down hard when applying second sheet onto printed one. wanted to print out some designs to put onto some nesting tables i was upcycling perfect finishing touch
