IR reflection ruining nightvision
theres some pros (to follow) but first the biggest negative - there's something wrong with the isolation of the IR LEDs from the lense, so at night the view is obstructed by reflection. being the first time i have had this problem i have checked for protective film on the glass and any other obvious issues. i'll take it down for a closer look to see how it is contructed. it might just be mine. if places closer to the floor or something else to illuminate the white of those items overpowers the visible reflection so might not be obvious to otherspros: setup by web interface very easy. turn off p2p from there - it stops the p2pwificam app working, but i really don't trust that app or the p2p service. do it from the NVR of your choice or your own solution.main stream is on rtsp://camip:554/11 or /12 for sub stream plus to onvif on http, so should work with all software pretty easily. picture quality is decent, software on the cam is decent.can send triggered recordings to an FTP which makes for a good NVRless system with a handful of these cameras and a very lightweight system like a pi for an FTP server, which is ideal for my situation.if only the nightvision wasn't wrecked, and/or is simple enough to fix, i'd be buying several more of these.

Amazing for the price!
I have a selection of IP cameras now, and these are my favourite! They aren't the best, but they are rock solid (much lower bandwidth demands than my 5MP Reolink cameras).See my review about those too for some general pointers on these devices - motion detection mostly useless outside (wind, cats, cobwebs), and motion blur can be an issue too, but for £15 these cameras are amazing! The app works, albeit a little unpolished.Haven't tried the memory card recoridng / slot at all - all mine are hooked up to a QNAP.Anyway, well recommended - might even buy more myself!

Good image quality but firmware very unstable
Got two of these, they frequently factory reset and often reboot or hang. Trying to run with with a Synology Nas, dont bother as the connection keeps dropping.

Great item for the price
Could not believe the quality for the price will be getting more

Not too bad, and supports RTSP which makes the need for software irrelevant: +1 for linux
So far so good. The web interface was basic and simple enough. I must admit I don't use most of the features in the web interface as I write my own software so was very pleased to see that one can access the RTSP stream directly over the network, and it offers 2 or 3 (can't remember) streams to choose from - the standard 1080p stream as '11' and a custom stream of lower quality presumably for mobile devices or poor connections. From a programming perspective, one can use OpenCV to open the RTSP stream (or VLC/ffmpeg, etc) and perform frame captures and digital image analysis. Beware however, that the frame rate over LAN (and I have a gigabit setup here) is not 'smooth'; it would seem the processor in the camera itself isn't quite up to the job of streaming at the expected frame rate and will 'burst' frames resulting in a noticeable glitch in video streaming roughly every second. I will update my review after I have started using the camera in it's final 24/7 position.

Great Cheap Camera
I work with this equipment professionally and when I saw this and the price I thought it would never hold up. WRONG. Put these cameras on the network and the view angle is better than $300 cameras with the same quality. IR is great. They work great in Zoneminder and with the ONVIF they are very easy to set up. Web Interface for camera is also great. If you want high quality video night or day outside without a huge cost then these are great. They function outside in -40 weather without problem.

PURE GARBAGE
they are easy to set up and ok during the day but the quality of picture is grainy. At night these are useless. the IR creates a halo on the lens that you can't see thru. I have 5 of them ALL with the same issue. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE

Good Value
I purchased 3 of these. They work great, use low bandwidth. overall good value. One came with bad Cat6 cable, No problem easy to replace. These cameras have fish eye blurring at night in unlit areas. Not sure if there is a setting to correct this.

Useless at night
I really liked this camera in the beginning, the setup with iSpy is easy (all of the sw included with the camera is garbage though) and the picture is very clear and sharp. That is at day time. At night when the IR kicks in the picture gets useless. The reason is the IR reflects from the camera's own glass in front of the lens so badly you can barely make out any details.I tried to contact the support for help but their web site is nonfunctional and their Wechat account doesn't seem to be working either.

Cool if you dont mind resetting every day
Does not work with gig networks. I had to have a 10/100 switch and it still times out.

Meh!
Didn't work right, hard camera to configure, limited documentation.

This camera is really something, it's so clear, now I can use it to see what my dog is doing, even at night.

Look elsewhere
Cheaply built already rusting. There are better options and the savings won't be worth it.

An Excellent Camera!
I ordered three other brands and returned them after hours of frustration. They just didn't work as their product claimed they would. I've just opened this camera, had it up and running in a matter of minutes and found the software, videos, and guides to be excellent!I wish there were ten stars, because they earned at least that many.I highly recommend this camera for those of us on a budget. I'm just setting up a camera to watch a bird's nest as they lay, hatch, and raise their young.
