The scent of this soap is not the most appealing. However, this is a very versatile soap, which can be mixed with water or other liquid to make it an eco-friendly and powerful cleaning solution. 80 years ago, my grandparents were only using Savon de Marseille as a stain remover for clothes (this is still my go-to solution) and black soap as an all-purpose cleaner.I recommend it, and there are plenty of tutorials about how to use it on the Internet.

Olive oil soap are good natural soap.I had been looking for black soap for a while, I'm glad I found some.

Way too strong for skin. As someone else stated it smells like burnt tires, you can tell it's the richest and strongest form of olive oil. It irritates the sinuses and made me sneeze. Even diluted it still irritates the skin. I would use it to clean the house, but it makes me sneeze terribly so I can't use it at all. If you can bear the smell and it doesn't irritate your nose, you can use it as a dish detergent or cleaning agent.

I have been using Black Soap for years when I was living in France. This is an environmental and health friendly product. I like the smell of it and it cleans my floors (tile, limate).I recommend it to anyone !

Wow, this is horrible—-when you clean with it you have to clean again with something else to cover up the awful smell. And WAY TOO EXpENSIVe$$$, wish I could get my money back.

Not so much of a fan. Just regular soap and water was just as effective for my general house cleaning.
