Replacement Saw Chain, 24 in.L, 81 Links

Good sharp chains, having trouble finding 24" locally so Amazon it is. Came on time and in good condition.

This chain will work but I'm not happy that they pictured the Echo package(which is an Oregon chain) and sent a different Oregon chain instead. I was looking for a replacement for what came on the saw and this chain is not that even though it was advertised as such. I will keep them because the price is right and I'm sure it will cut. In the pictures I uploaded the chain on the bar is the chain that came on the saw and the chain on the bar cover is the chain I was sent. If you'll notice, the new chain has a 23 inscribed on the depth gauge as opposed to the 25 inscribed on the depth gauge of the original chain meaning that it is not a 72LPX81CQ chain which is the prescribed chain per the saw owner's manual. According to the packaging this is a 72LGX081G rather than the advertised product.

this is the way to go instead of sharpening , just get two!

Don’t be fooled by the picture. This is an Oregon chain. At first this was cutting like butter, however that didn’t last long. Thankfully I have a sharpener for it. My main disappointment is that this chain stretches out wayyyy to fast. I literally had to stop and tighten my bar every 5-10 min all the way to the point my bar was extended out as far as it would go and I still have a lot of sag in this chain. I couldn’t even finish sectioning out a tree I fell.

They are indeed OREGON brand chains, but shipped from IRELAND(?) Really?

Two inches short, ordered as xtra for my new 24” chainsaw. This chain made and recommended by Echo, when I purchased the saw.
