Gun Safe Power Outlet Kit, Briidea Gun Safe Accessory Electrical Outlet with USB for Interior Dehumidifiers and Lights

Installation was simple but do pay special attention to wire connection as if you’re forgetful or don’t pay attention you might get the polarity of the wires to plug wrong. Not sure if that would be a problem but on a conventional electrical box it would be a problem. Works fine powering my golf rod dehumidifier for my gun safe and also powering my LED light kit for it as well. Didn’t really have a need for the USB outlets yet but it’s nice to know they’re available if needed. Hoping I have years of trouble free operation and I’ll find out. Recommended due to decent construction, pricing and ease of installation. I used the supplied 3M tape to stick inside my safe.

Works great for my fireproof safe that didn’t come with power on the inside. You still need the safe to be drilled for power but this makes it so you don’t need a big hole to thread the cable through that will compromise the fire proof rating

I needed to add lights and a dehumidifier rod to my gun safe and this looked like a good option. It was very easy to install given the fact that it has wire coupler so that you can just feed the wire through a small hole in the safe and then reconnect the wires. Very easy to install and works great.

This was a very easy way to run power to the inside of a safe. Simply drill a hole (mine already had a hole with a plug) and run the wire through it. Use the coupler to attach the plug to the unit and secure the outlet with the provided hardware. It was an easy as that. Cord is a bit short for my purposes but nothing an extension cord couldn’t fix.

The install was easy I got power into my safe but the screws they give you do not work at all very cheesy and strip out and don't hold

Buy this outlet. Just check the outlet with a circuit tester to ensure each leg is connected properly in the splice joint. It may take more than one attempt at connecting to get each leg contacting properly. Lights and dehumidifier rods are really nice to have. No more hunting around in dark shadows to find an item, or keeping a flashlight in the safe. And dry air is nice to have, too.

This products works really good for a safe. Especially when you have a small hole that you need to get through to put the wire through. Very easy to install.
