Neopets: The Omelette Faerie (Volume 1) Paperback – October 22, 2024

SQUEEEE!!! I ordered this FOREVER AGO. I don’t play Neopets anymore but I did so much as a kid and this inspired me to get back on the website. Such a fun jaunt around Neopia, and it’s clear the people who made this book are big Neopets fans. It’s done in conventional comic style & adheres to all comic conventions. Some ppl who aren’t as familiar with comics may not be aware of that but who cares!! This hit me in all the feels and the art is magical and the story is even better

I’ve been an avid and active Neo fan for years, and I preordered this to try and support the revival of the site. It’s an excellent, fun adventure comic that often captures the vibe of some of the things players can do on the site while also building on the lore of Neopia. I absolutely laughed quite a few times while reading it and was showing panels to my family before passing it on to them to read, too. The art style is adorable, and the characters and story entertaining. I’d recommend this comic for any long time fan of Neopets, newbie arrivals to the scene, and even to people who next to nothing about the site. If your kid likes magical animals and creatures, they’ll probably also like this comic and you don’t really need any background knowledge to understand what’s going on.

This made me feel like a kid again. I really enjoyed the whimsy and faerie characters.

Longtime Neopets fan, so happy to share this book with my daughter! The story was well written and the art was charming. Can’t wait to buy the next one when it comes out!

I love this so much! Read through it all, very well put together and very well written.

One of the two main characters is an outright lesbian, and basically the entire story is about her getting her lesbian love back because they had a fallout.The art style was great, the quality of the comic is great, but I would not read this to a child.
