does what it says, worth the price and since nothing has a drive anymore worth having one in the drawer.

Although the description states that this product is plug and play for Mac OSX, this is not true. Upon opening the package and reading the Instructions insert, I saw this sentence:*Please note that Apple's DVD Player does not support externally installed Super Driver (DVD-RW). Alternativelly. You must use a freeware DVD player.(The sentence has been copied here exactly as is, with spelling/punctuation errors.)I returned the product due to false advertising and not being able to use it with my Macbook Pro using the Apple DVD player.

It would be nice if the cord were longer, otherwise the product is great.

Plug and play, really that's all you have to do. This works as advertised it has played all discs that I've tried to play so far. Nice and slim form factor. Would highly recommend.

I would have never guessed it'd be so easy to transfer my files after my desk top crashed and a friend of mine moved everything onto this driver. The shipping was better than advertised, I received my order before it's scheduled date.Thank you.

I don't know if it works or not. The first time I plugged the USB into the adapter and plugged the adapter into my MacBook Cobalt the adapter fell all to pieces, and I have not yet gotten a replacement so I can try it out. If I ever get it to work on my Mac I will let you know
