Heart warmingly brilliant - Blake Liveley is amazing
This is one of favourite movies to wash away the daily stressed. The story is well written and well paced, but the main draw is Blake Liveley. She captures the character perfectly and exudes sophistication with every word. Her tone and vocabulary is so warm and endearing - makes me feel like I am listening to one of my elders speak - which makes sense once you watch this.I keep this movie for those rainy days as I don't want to overwatch it to ruin its magic.

Memorable, thoughtful and mature...
Being autistic, I may have something known as the "Peter Pan" gene, so I have a strange quasi-understanding of going through life not feeling like I'm getting old very quickly. As such, the perspective offered by a film like ADALINE strikes a chord with me: her memories of seeing the Golden Gate bridge built, Bing Crosby seeking a kiss and a love-affair during the Swinging Sixties... I remember the moon landing, the second Doctor Who and black and white TV, and I haven't got a grey hair on my head.I think it's based on a book, and as such offers much more depth than many of the colour-saturated, car-chase crazes pieces of codswallop now on offer. An enjoyable piece of involving and professional film-making, with the added bonus of Harrison Ford in the second half!

A little Different - But As A Romantic Drama This Is A Best In Genre
It was one of those nights. I was in the mood for something light and not very taxing. I knew little about 'The Age Of Adeline' except what I had just read on the Amazon Prime Blurb. Ok, then. lets give this a go. I didn't even know it was basically a romantic film. If I did I might not have bothered as I'm not a fan unless they are really well done without added saccharine. Luckily, it turned out that this fil was well made and not over sweetened. It is actually like a well thought out fairy tale. The story is imaginative without overplaying its singular point of difference from every other similar story. I suppose it could have asked more questions about what it must be like never to age and watch those around you grow old and die but 'Age Of Adeline' is not that type of film and all the better for that.Maybe of a different night when I was in a different mood I might have felt different but I really don't think so. Blake Lively is perfect in the lead role and their is a high standard of characterisation from all the support actors so this helps make the unbelievable believable.'The Age Of Adeline' could have been a very watery, heavily sugared, naff film of inconsequence. It could also have been pretentious and over wrought. The director managed to steer clear of both these possibly more monied banks. Instead it was a well thought out, well performed and film, film that also does get even old cynics like me to feel a little bit emotional.

Captivating 🤩
A lovely and engaging film with an interesting and thought-out storyline. I love romances and this doesn’t disappoint.Blake Lively from the first scene shows sophistication and the character’s age 👌👌👌The soundtrack and costumes are precise for each time period and are utterly captivating 😀😀😀Definitely worth a watch, a very sad dilemma to be the only immortal person and this film does an amazing job on conveying that.A very nice film for movie night 🎥🍿 Date night etc

Very Good
Nice enjoyable romance with an unusual premise and a satisfying conclusion. Blake Lively was excellent, and the scenes she shared with Harrison Ford were particularly good. My one complaint is that it would have been stronger without the narrator spouting a lot of technobabble to explain why the protagonist suddenly stopped ageing in her early twenties. You could just as well have had her fairy godmother appear and wave a magic wand to accomplish the same setup. Or hint at something supernatural without explaining it.

A cracking storyline
If you're OK accepting the science behind Adeline's longevity is a bit far-fetched (nicely cookie I'd say) I can only think of positives. Adeline herself (Blake Lively) is superb, as is Harrison Ford when he makes an appearance. A nice tempo to the film and atmosphere - and just a great story.

Wow! Just Wow!
I don't know about you but I love it when a film is thoughtful and beautiful and magical and romantic all rolled into one.I love when film becomes story, and story almost becomes poetry.I love when the actors on the screen become the characters and the characters become people we feel we've known for ages..I loved this film.Excellent.

Beautiful
I have endless love for this movie, it's just beautifully written and acted. Yes the main premise requires a little suspension of disbelief, but it's fiction after all. I absolutely love it! I will watch and rewatch over and over again. I also wish I could read it as a book.
