Make Way for Ducklings

Bought this to read to my daughter's kindergarten class. They loved it. She is a teacher in California and I was the mystery reading coming from Boston.The book was old but in very good condition. It was perfect.

One of my professors once said to read a children's book everyday. Make Way for Ducklings is one I recently bought for my grand-daughter and we are both enjoying it.We can identify with the family crisis and how the parents sought to solve it. They moved to a new park and a new location.I especially like how Mrs. Mallard taught her babies obedience which is so important in life. i also loved the policeman who ensured the family was safe in traffic.This book is a classic and a MUST READ for the young at heart.

Impossible to adequately praise this classic. No child should be without this in their library.

Haven't read the book yet, but it's a brand new beautiful hardbound that was recommended to me by my neighbor who's a grade school teacher. She thought I'd enjoy reading it and passing it on to some small relatives since we have mallard ducks who swim each year in our swimming pool.

I purcahse this book for my 5 year old Grandaughter who lives in Florida. I was scheduled to visit her and ordered the book in advance for it to arrive before I. Everyday for a week we waited anxiously for the books arrival. When the book arrived my Grandaughter was elated. She loves animals and read the book to everyone who would listen. Happy with the outcome.

I love this story and that's why I've been wanting a copy. However, the seller said it was a 1941 copy, when in fact it was an updated copyright put out in 1969 or 1976, and I think that should have been stated.

Just as advertised. My favorite book as a child and this is a gift for our grand daughter.

I always keep a copy of this book as gifts for young children. Many have visited Boston to see and sit upon the ducks in Boston Garden.

Love this book. It arrived in perfect condition can't wait yo read it yo ny grandson.
