Using the glossy/smooth/shiny leather surface was causing all sorts of problems with my laser mouse. It worked but would freeze sometimes or skip around, and lifting it even slightly off the pad would cause it to stop working for several seconds after putting it back on the pad. I troubleshooted a lot of things about my mouse and software before trying the rough side of the leather pad. I flipped over the leather pad and use the non-glossy/natural nubuck feeling side, with the glossy side down. This fixed everything.Lessons for the manufacturer:1) Make the glossy side less glossy2) Don't use glossy or reflective surfaces intended for optical devices

This is an amazing product. I personally like to try to keep an organized workspace, so I purchased two, for my work desk and for my home office. The simplicity of the design appeals to the me as I like minimalist designs. Even so, I could really tell this is a quality piece of craftsmanship.My work space already looks cleaner and more organized, and is definitely a step up from other mats I've had on my desks in the past. If I could give this item 6 stars, I would.

I love the texture, smell and feel of this nice leather mousepad! My Apple Magic Mouse travels very smoothly on it.The only thing I wish were mentioned in the product page is the need for saddle soap to be applied every two weeks in order to keep it in good condition. I wish I had ordered that alongisde the mousepad. Not a big problem, since I can order it separately, but still something to consider.

Perfect deskmat for a small keyboard and mouse. Great quality and color. Looks like it will be durable and wear to a nice patina. I expect this to be a buy-it-for-life purchase. One minor downside is that straight out of the package it smells faintly of prosciutto (gamey and vaguely like ham) and the scent did transfer to my skin. I hope this is an issue that will resolve itself soon.

Exactly what I wanted aesthetically, leather is smooth and soft.Cons: the stitching hurts my wrist after a bit of use, and the bottom is not sticky so the mousepad slides all over the place when using. Still keeping because it’s so pretty!!

Mat is very nice and exactly what I wanted. Being picky i would mention that the mat is more white than I expected (looks a little old/faded) but the quality is great and the size is perfect for my desk at work.

Could not be happier! This is exactly what I was looking for and the colors was as expected; kind of a light flesh tone. The quality is very nice. No dye or other processing smells. The company clearly takes pride in producing this product. Thank you!
