This is a very important book. A must read especially for people wondering why our country is going to hell!

I found this book to be refreshing and enlightening as Dr. Garlow addressed a number of the issues in our nation today. He does not put them under a microscope and deal with every minute detail, but he covers the key aspects of the issues to help us understand them from a biblical perspective. So many who attempt to provide answers get in your face as if they can bludgeon everyone else into their way of seeing things. I appreciate his humble, compassionate, respectful attitude and believe even those who disagree can read the book and learn from it. Many who hold the same position as him can learn a lot about how to express themselves better in the marketplace. We need to know what we believe, be able to express it clearly, and to stand firm on biblical truth. What we think matters very little to those around us if we are unable to speak the truth in a manner that is understandable and supportable. Dr. Garlow has years of experience in pulpit ministry and in standing in the public square to address the problems we face. We need to know right from wrong no matter what our various affiliations may be. I strongly recommend this book.

All pastors and church leaders should read. Also, review the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence. It would be good to make them available to all citizens.

Everyone should read this book and understand/learn the biblical principles to stand against the insane culture we are currently experiencing. Informs us of the biblical values our country was formed upon.

Mr. Garlow (and his team) have authored a collection of Biblical insights relevant to today's culture and, without strong opinion, laid out the facts with a plethora of references in such a way that one can easily make an informed decision about what is good and right and what is not. This book is a MUST READ for anyone who doesn't want to be emotionally swayed but make informed choices about our evolving culture and how to respond. Sound a little dry? Boring? It's not! Turn the pages and discover what you won't read anywhere else.

So much information in this book! School, Gov., Marriage, community etc. Easy to follow along and it gives many breaks with sections. Very interesting and never dry. As a 27 yr old this book has opened my eyes to a lot.

This book sets the tone and the attitude required to grasp the basics of Christian Philosophy, and it relevance in modern society. Highly recommended for a serious student of the infallible Word of God.Would also recommend a companion book 'The Book That Made Your World' by Vishal Mangalwadi.

very helpful and gives good information

Very well written. Understandable for the lay person. I couldn't put it down. Mr. Garlow shows that there is Biblical support for some areas of government but that Biblically we are responsible as a church for many of the things the government is doing. We would be able to do them better.
