Outer Banks Deluxe Oversized Poly Lumber Folding Adirondack Chair (Bright Orange)

Several months ago I recognized the value of physically testing an office chair in the store that I was in the market for. There was a particular chair at Staples that was getting rave reviews online so I decided to go to see if they had them on display and they did, but after actually sitting in it I realized it wasn't for me because the seat depth was too short so I opted for a slightly larger chair they had in stock.Which now brings us to Adirondack chairs. In doing research I've gathered that these chairs typically have seat depths of 18-21 inches in general. There are no outlets to check out these chairs in person so I went to furniture retailers with a measuring tape to measure seat depth of chairs they had on display (at considerably higher cost than these chairs, I might add). The 3 different chairs I sat in had a seat depth of 18 inches - same as is stated for this chair. As a 5'9" male is was perfect as the front edge of the seat came right up to the back of my legs before the bend at the knee, so I ordered one of these chairs knowing I could send it back if I didn't like it. After assembly and sitting in it I realized the seats are a little shorter than the ones in the stores. Upon measuring it I noticed the EFFECTIVE seat depth (the part that actually touches the back of your legs) is closer to about 16 inches before the slats start angling toward the ground as the front is of the seat is rounded. That said, the chair was still comfortable and not a deal breaker. My wife is 5'3" and she loves it. The cup and wine glass holders are nice features, it's well constructed and more importantly, it's made in the U.S. I'll be ordering another one to make a pair to go along with an existing bench around our fire pit.

I bought two of these chairs for our patio. My husband had no problem with assembling them. Each took about an hour. I love the extra features for drinking cups. Absolutely love them, so comfortable and beautifully made.

Firstly - the quality of this chair is great along with all the other ECCB products. That said, if you're expecting a vibrant "neon" green like the other brightly colored chairs, this is much more muted than expected.

The chair shipped quickly and arrived a few days later in good condition. The chair came in 5 pieces and the assembly hardware was in a nice card pack. Assembly took about 15 minutes. I had 4 of these to assemble, so I cut off one of the hex wrenches and put it in the chuck of my drill. That saved a lot of assembly time.Some buyers noted that the chair was not sturdy. I'm 6ft/225 lbs and noticed a little give in the plastic boards, but not enough to give me any concern.My initial quality rating is 5 star, but now comes the test of time.

Chairs are a great addition to our deck! Comfortable and the dark green (Michigan State green-go Spartans!) is just what we wanted. LOVE that they are made in the USA!

We got 2 of these chairs because we wanted a good sturdy chair that stood up to weather and many reviews said they were very easy to assemble. My husband and I are healthy seniors and it was "fairly" easy to assemble them - took about 3 hours for both chairs. We're very happy with them but do put aside some time to put them together. Fifteen minutes? I can't imagine that.
