The style of the chain detracts from its elegance
The $70 price tag makes for high expectations. The craftsmanship and materials appear to be of good quality. Unfortunately, I think the chain looks cheap; the style is generic and plain, not delicate or even very pretty. I like that it can be adjusted between 16-17”. The velvet box is excellent and does help to elevate the presentation and gift worthiness, but the price still feels a bit steep to me.

Cultured Pearl Necklace
This is a cultured pearl necklace with an AAA quality 8mm pearl. The pearl has a nice luster and roundness. The chain is 18" with a sterling silver base and gold plating. The pearl is accented by 5A cubic zirconias. Overall, this is a well made and pretty necklace that comes well presented. It would make a lovely gift or a great gift for yourself as well.

Better than expected
I assumed I would be disappointed from buying jewelry on Amazon with only being able to see it on a computer screen. This necklace actually looks better once you have it in your hands than it does in the pictures. The quality of the chain and all the craftsmanship is great. The pearl is a natural beauty. The shipping was extremely fast which was good since I forgot my anniversary but this came in 2 days and saved me. The box and packaging was better than I get from my expensive local jewelry store. I could not find a reason to not give this 5 stars
