Product Description The second album by the mesmerising young Belgian band is an inspiring collection which once again displays their ability to create moving songs, set in captivating, beautifully-crafted soundscapes, permeated with their trademark melancholy and elegance. 2013 was an eventful for the band - the international release of their debut album 'tbc'; extensive tours in Europe and several side-projects showcasing the band's boundless versatility and creativity, including the launch of their award-winning interactive online project 'Deleting Borders', and the composition of several soundtracks including the recently released DVD, 'Impatience'. The album was created in a variety of places. Songwriter and vocalist Inne Eysermans searched for solitude and seclusion in New York and Hamburg to work on sketches and new ideas and sent them to guitarist Sebastiaan Van den Branden, who added new layers. Through their continuous interplay, the new songs gradually took their definitive form, incorporating a rich yet subtle palette of textures, with vintage keyboards, brass arrangements, drums, and a variety of electronic and acoustic sounds. The Guardian described "Hudson", the first digital single taken from the album, as: "a downcast slice of fidgety post-rock buffeted by big swathes of ominous synths and Inne's fractured vocal." Personnel: Inne Eysermans (vocals, keyboards, beats and programming), Sebastiaan Van den Branden (vocals, guitar, keys, beats and programming, bass), Laurens Van Bouwelen (drums, percussion, beats - 8), Bart Indevuyst (French horn), Frederik Heirman (trombone, euphonium)

This is a super good album
This is a super good album. Heard a few of the songs on Echoes and was blown away. Didn't want to wait to hear the rest so I ordered the download. Instant music you gotta love it. Was afraid the rest might not be as good but it was. Honored to be the first reviewer of this album. Hope this helps. Good luck to Amatorski. Peace
