Good book to read for basic cybersecurity.

Very well written and easy to understand. Each chapter was well written to explain the material.

This is a silly thing to complain about but the book is tiny. It's adorable. It's like the Tiny Tim of textbooks. It's considerable smaller in size than a standard textbook. It almost feels like it is the size of a manual.

Son loves it!

This book is pretty good and is more than sufficient to pass this test. Someone validated that all of the Q&A at the end of each chapter seem to be correct so that's cool. And there's lots of Cisco technology 'primer' content to understand what Cisco technology can be applied to various use cases. Good overview of a bunch of concepts. This test is most useful for Tier 1 helpdesk, those who are tangential to security (installers, technicians, etc.), and may be sufficient to demonstrate skills in a junior security position. You could also use it as a stepping stone to a Sec+.
