I always wanted to roast marshmallows on an open fire with my kids, but we never go camping, and making a campfire in the backyard is not safe or practical.I'm glad I got this firepit. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it is also very efficient. It is heavy (it is made of poured concrete after all), but I'm glad it is, so its not easily knocked over.It brings a pad that you soak with your fuel (I got bioethanol, but it works with rubbing alcohol too). Because the bioethanol burns clean, there is no fumes or smoke coming out of it and you can use it indoors any time of the year. Our roasted marshmallows came out perfectly and we spent a nice time as a family gathered around the fire.TIP: The lid to extinguish the fire could be tricky to use if the flames are high, but what I did was to hold the lid by the handle and kind of slide it over the top starting with the side that was away from the handle, so by the time the part of the handle went over the flames, the fire was covered. I had no issues. You can always leave it stinguish by itself, but I wasn't about to leave a fire unatended, eventough the material of the pit doesnt conduct the heat too much (antother good thing).You can use it for warmth, or you can toast marshmellows with it, or just lit it for ambiance. Either way, you can't go wrong with this firepit.

We simply love this tabletop fire pit! It has a nice weight to it so it's very sturdy. It does actually provide a little bit of warmth, especially if sitting closer to it, which is so lovely on colder evenings. It's very easy to use and it burns very clean with 90% isopropyl alcohol especially. The cover is excellent to simply put out the flame with ease when done enjoying for the evening. Creates a really nice and romantic ambiance to our outdoor area. Love it!

LOVE the fire pit, we have been using rubbing alcohol, it does burn out within an hour, but, we wait until it cools a little and add more. Easy enough. There were no instruction, so we had to google what to do. pretty basic, but would have been nice if there was some guidance included.

I did not expect the concrete base of this tabletop fire pit to look as nice in real life as it does. Pictures do not do it justice. It has a depth to it, and the cool gray shades coupled with the warm fire shades are just beautiful together. It’s very heavy at almost 15 lbs, which helps it to be secure in that it is not easy to knock over. The lid just fits to the edges of the stainless pit, so I wore a fireproof glove using it when the flames were high, but it actually put the fire right out with no flames escaping. I just slid it over the fire. I almost took a star off because there are no instructions or safety information, which is a real concern for people who have no experience with these types of fire pits. If you are using this indoors, do not use a lot of fuel! You just need 30–40 oz of fuel dribbled over the ceramic wool, which is placed in the bottom of the pit. I used isopropyl alcohol for my first burn because that is what I had on hand, but I am ordering bioethanol fuel today. I am a professional fire dancer, so I know fuel types well and was comfortable substituting. The flames start small and build gradually to a nice robust fire in about a minute. It puts out a lot of warmth. I plan to use this fire pit for beauty and entertainment, but it’s also nice to have on hand for emergency power-outage situations. The fire only lasts 30-40 minutes, but since you do not need a lot of fuel, a bottle will last more than 24 hours (let it cool for at least 10 minutes between uses before refueling). I plan to have several bottles of bioethanol fuel on hand this winter.

This fire pit is perfect for a patio or a small table. We filled ours with lava rocks and it looks beautiful. When filled adequately it burns for a long time. Would make a great house warming gift.
