Not Real Ebony Wood
I like the design and size of this cutting board, but it is not really ebony wood, so it shows cutting marks very easily. Another complaint, which is much more serious, is that I ordered the dark wood color, but it is not real, it is a stain. The stain comes off, and it is probably not healthy to cut your food on this product because the stain get in to your food and you eat it. I would not buy it again.

NOT an Ebony Cutting Board
This cutting board claims to be made of Ebony but it is not, in fact. That is inaccurate. It is made completely of Sapele. I have included pictures so that you can see the difference between the pieces of Ebony wood that I have laid on top of the cutting board, and the Sapele cutting board itself. Clearly not Ebony. I'm returning it and going looking for a real Ebony cutting board.

Horrible Product
When I took it out of the box and placed it on my counter I noticed it was very wobbly, The cutting board was warped.Very disappointed!!!!!!

This cutting board is beautiful. Really well made; it's made from one solid piece of (sustainable) wood, not many pieces glued together like all of my other wood boards, which I hadn't ever heard of before. I've used it for chopping and so far it barely shows any marks. It also makes a beautiful, elegant serving board. Great for charcuterie. The packaging is sturdy and very nice looking. Makes a great gift. No need to look any further. A+

a very nice quality board
I have been looking for a quality cutting board for a while, this is the right one I wanted. the size is just right, and the color is very beautiful after oil. So far i am very excited with this cutting board, but will update later if anything changes. it is a little expensive, but I'm happy with it.
