Tokyo was Brian's first stop on his backpacking trip around the world. It was his first time traveling alone and coming from Narita Airport, he was faced with the most confusing railway map he had ever seen. The numerous shades of blue used to designate the different train lines made his head swim. Eventually, he found himself at an izakaya off of the Keisei main line. He was drinking a strange beer-like beverage named Hoppy and musing over his harrowing day. Nabee's Hoppi socks were born of this experience and act as a small reminder to face all adversities with a little hop in your step. In the end, you always come out the other side and sometimes you'll leave with a silly commemorative sock to celebrate the journey. .
